Chapter 21

Natsu stared at Lucy's face, hoping she'd wake up. It had been two days since they turned her, his mother said she should be up by now. Natsu had asked Erza to tell gramps what happened, just so he'd know what happened to the couple.

Wendy sighed and got up "it's time for me to go to school..tell me is she wakes up, okay?" Natsu nodded and kissed Wendy's head "have a good day, alright?"

Wendy smiled and nodded, running out of the house. Natsu closed his eyes and kissed Lucy's cheek "c'mon princess..wake up.."

"But I wanna sleep.."

Natsu's eyes flew open and he stared at Lucy before giving her a grin.

Lucy's eyes were still her beautiful brown color but her face was paler. Natsu cupped her face and smiled, kissing her head "how ya feelin' princess?"

Lucy grabbed onto his arms and pulled him closer "okay..but I'm hungry.."

Natsu smirked and held onto her hand "let's feed you then, shall we?"

Time skip: an hour later.

Lucy sat on top of an tree, smiling as she looked down at the buildings and homes. She loved the life of a vampire, mostly if she got to see this. Natsu jumped next to her and pulled her close "how ya likin' the vampire life?"

Lucy smiled at him "it's amazing. You guys get to see this view everyday!"

Natsu kissed her head "I'm surprised you're so..educated? I dunno, just weird how you got the hang of things so fast and you're just a fledgling."

Lucy shrugged and looked at the sky "when I woke up, I knew everything about vampires. I knew how to fly, change into a bat, everything. I guess it's because I was meant to be one."

Natsu stared at her before standing up, holding out his hand to her "c'mon princess, I gotta show ya somethin' amazing"

Lucy looked at him and smiled, taking his hand and yelped when she was pulled up. Natsu picked her up and jumped down from the tree, running towards the city.

Wendy sighed as she walked through the door. She guessed her mother and father were at work since she didn't hear them, the whole mansion was silent. Wendy started panicking. Since the mansion was silent, where was Lucy's breathing? She ran to the room and gasped when she saw no one.

Wendy grabbed the home phone and dialed Natsu's number, hoping he'd pick up. She knew that if he was in danger, he wouldn't but she wasn't thinking.

"Hello?"

Wendy sighed, relieved but then remembered Lucy was missing "Natsu! Lucy isn't here, I don't know where she-"

She stopped talking when she heard Lucy's giggle.

"I'm right here Wen, Natsu took me out to explore the life of a vampire"

Wendy's eyes widened and she squealed "I wanna see! Where are you two? Wait no I'll find you, give me a few minutes and don't move!" Wendy hung up and placed the phone down, jumping out the window and transforming into her bat form.

Now that Lucy was a vampire, the two could go hunting and play pranks on Natsu.

Wendy knew Lucy would agree to doing both.

When she found the two, Lucy was dancing in the sunlight as Natsu shot fire into the sky, small flakes falling next to Lucy as she danced.

Wendy giggled and landed onto the ground, dusting off her dress as she turned human. She guessed the two were practicing since Lucy winked at her.

"What are you practicing for Lu?"

The blonde smiled at Wendy and stopped her dancing "just a talent show Levy and I are doing for the school to raise money. Sadly, we're the opening act and it's being performed outside"

Wendy grabbed her hand "but you should sit down, you could fall and get hurt-"

"I'm immortal Wen, I think I'll be okay" Lucy giggled, pulling Wendy closer and starting to dance with her.

Natsu grinned as he saw Wendy laugh. Lucy was the best thing that happened to them since their parents always had meetings they had to go to. Lucy cheered them up, she cheered everyone up.

Natsu's eyes widened as stars circled them, engulfing Lucy. When the stars cleared away, Lucy's hair was in a bun held up by a scrunchie while her tank top and shorts was replaced by a black dress that cut off and went around her legs.

Wendy's eyes widened "woah.."

Natsu looked at the tattoo on her chest and smirked when he realized her ability "Celestial, that's your ability."

Lucy looked at her dress and twirled around "explain?"

Wendy giggled and the two siblings grabbed Lucy's hand, dragging Lucy off somewhere.

Lucy sweat dropped but smiled, letting them drag her off.
