Chapter 25

Lucy paced around the back, biting her nails. Levy sighed and grabbed onto her shoulders "calm down Lu! You'll do great, I promise" Levy smiled at her, messing with her hair. Lucy groaned and laid her head on Levy's shoulder.

"I'm just nervous I guess.."

Levy rubbed her back but jumped when Gajeel grabbed her by the waist "it's almost time, shrimp." Levy puffed out her cheeks and turned her head away from Gajeel, crossing her arms.

Lucy looked around and sighed when she didn't see Natsu "I bet he's fighting Gray somewhere..."

"I already fought ice princess" Natsu wrapped his arms around Lucy's waist, kissing her head. Lucy smiled and hugged him, resting her head on his shoulder as her heart calmed down. Natsu kissed her neck softly and rubbed her back, whispering in her ear "you'll do great, I promise."

Lucy nodded and hugged him one more time before letting go and walking over to Levy, taking her hand and nodding at her. Levy smiled at Lucy and squeezed her hand, walking onto the stage when their names were called.

Time skip (sorry, I'm too lazy to write a dance)

Lucy bowed with Levy as everyone cheered and clapped. She quickly ran backstage and hugged Levy, the two girls jumping up and down as their friends ran up to them. The friends shared a group hug before Natsu pulled Lucy away as him and Wendy engulfed her in a hug.

Lucy smiled and hugged them both, picking up Wendy and spinning her around "you came!"

Wendy smiled and hugged Lucy again "of course! I couldn't miss you dancing" the two girls giggled while Natsu pouted, wrapping his arms around Lucy's waist "she's my girlfriend.."

Lucy froze and touched her teeth to feel her fangs. Natsu pulled her closer and kissed her head "hold it off for a little longer..just a little bit.." Natsu looked at Gray as he had his arm wrapped around Juvia. The pinkette nodded and Gray's eyes widened.

"Well! How about we all head to Mira's café? Like a little celebration!" Gray smiled and winked at Natsu, walking away with Juvia with the rest of their friends. Lucy laid against Natsu's chest, watching as their friends walked away "what about the talent show?"

Natsu scoffed and watched as Lisanna announced the students "gramps said we had to buy a ticket if we wanted to see it."

"You guys didn't buy a ticket..?" Lucy turned around in Natsu's arms and looked at him, tilting her head to the side. Natsu shook his head and picked her up, starting to walk "no, we didn't think we needed to. He just told us that we had to buy a ticket."

Lucy giggled and laid her head on Natsu's shoulder "he probably didn't want you guys to cause a ruckus." Natsu rolled his eyes and smiled at Lucy "yeah yeah. You ready?"

Lucy jumped down and nodded, smirking at Natsu "can I catch a human?"

Natsu's eyes widened and he thought for a moment. He knew he could trust Lucy but what if someone caught her? He was too weak to mess with someone's mind. Lucy placed her hands on Natsu's head "it'll be okay. I'll make sure I won't get caught."

Natsu sighed and nodded, rubbed her back "alright, let's get goin' Luce"

Lucy jumped up into the air as she transformed into her bat form along with Natsu. The two flew away from the stage, heading wherever their noses took them. Lucy sniffed the air and smirked as she smelled a human. She slowly dove down and landed behind the girl as Natsu watched her.

Lucy wrapped her hand around the girls mouth and held her tightly, running behind a tree. Lucy was about to bite into her neck when the girl pushed Lucy into the tree, and standing in front of her. The white haired girl hissed at Lucy, stars starting to circle around her.

Natsu flew in front of Lucy, lighting his fists on fire "touch my mate and I'll kill you, again."

Lucy put her hand on Natsu's chest and walked towards the girl "I'm so sorry. I didn't know you were also a vampire. I'm still new to this whole undead thing." Lucy rubbed the back of her neck and held out her hand "May I know your name?"

The stars around the girl slowly disappeared and she shook Lucy's hand  "I'm also new to this. My name is Yukino, nice to meet you." Yukino smiled at Lucy, slowly letting go of her hand. Lucy smiled back and nodded "I'm Lucy!"

"Ah I know. Sting came to me, complaining on how you beat them up." Yukino giggled softly as she thought of Sting "I'm sorry for what he has done to you, he's an airhead. He just wants to impress Natsu."

Lucy growled and crossed her arms while Natsu placed his hands on her shoulders. Lucy scoffed "he wanted to impress Natsu by fighting his mate?"

Yukino sweat dropped and sighed "yeah..he's really stupid..how about we hunt together and I can try to make up for Sting's mistakes?"

Natsu growled at Yukino but Lucy shushed him, smiling "yes please, I'm starving."

I added Yukino cause someone needed to be the peace maker and she's adorable
