Chapter 8

Lucy walked down the halls with Lisanna and Bixlow. Lucy smirked as she connected the twos hands "we all know you two are dating. Besides, Bixlow was looking at your hand." Lisanna blushed but held Bixlow's hand, smiling softly. Lucy walked into the classroom to see Natsu sitting on her desk.

The blonde giggled and walked over to her vampire, grabbing his face "what are you doing here? You should be in class" Natsu smirked and wrapped his arms around Lucy's waist "I've been transferred here. Said I needed a more challenging class to keep me from slacking."

Lisanna gave Bixlow a quick kiss on the cheek, blushing intensely. The man smiled and pulled her close, kissing her on the lips.

Lucy clapped, smiling. Lisanna pulled away "b-bye Bixlow.." Lisanna quickly sat down at her desk. Lucy giggled and wrapped her arms around Natsu's neck "so, you've been slacking in class?"

Natsu nodded, shrugging his shoulders. The vampire also slacked in every class. He was constantly transferred into harder classes to try and keep him from slacking. The school board just didn't know what to do with him.

"Yeah, gramps said I should stop."

The blonde laughed "which means you probably should. Gramps usually never tells you to stop unless it was important." Natsu shrugged, kissing Lucy's head. The late bell rang and everyone sat down.

Lucy was paying attention to the teacher when someone passed a note to her. Lucy looked at Natsu and opened the note

If I seem weird today, I'm really hungry. I haven't eaten in two hours. Love you

Lucy giggled and wrote him a note. On the note was a simple okay.

Natsu laid his head on his hand, bored out of his mind. He didn't understand any of this so he decided to bother his lovely girlfriend. He took out his phone and sent her a quick text.

Natsu: hey beautiful, come around here often?

Lucy looked at her phone as it vibrated in her pocket. She took it out and hid it in her desk. As she looked at the text, red tinted her cheeks as she looked at Natsu.

Lucy: pay attention to class Natsu.

Natsu: Lucy I'm hungryyyy I want blood

Lucy raised her hand "sir? I need to go to the bathroom." Natsu smirked and stood up "so do I."

The teacher sighed but waved them away. Lucy dragged Natsu to the lockers and crossed her arms "Why didn't you eat today?" The pinkette shrugged, putting his arms behind his head "I didn't have time. My sister went hunting with her crush and my dad was at work."

Lucy sighed and brought Natsu to the bathrooms "you can feed from me."

Natsu quickly shook his head "no, I won't be able to stop." Lucy cupped his face, kissing his head "I know you will. I'll squeeze your hand to get you to stop." Natsu nodded slowly.

The vampire was scared, terrified even. If he didn't stop, he would drain the girl he loves. He wouldn't be able to live with himself. Natsu brought Lucy into the bathroom and locked the door, sighing. The blonde sat on the bathroom counter.

She was nervous. She never thought vampires were real, she only heard of them in the stories her mother would read to her. Lucy's mother had a great fascination with vampires.

Natsu looked at her "you'll tell me when to stop, right?" Lucy nodded, grabbing Natsu's hand "it'll be okay Natsu. Go ahead."

The vampire pushed down Lucy's collar, his fang extending with a soft click. The blonde closed her eyes, trying to relax.

Natsu looked at Lucy's face, slowly biting into her shoulder. The blonde bit down on her tongue to keep her from screaming. It was..weird. The pain quickly left and Lucy was able to relax.

Natsu on the other hand was having the time of his life. Lucy's blood was the sweetest thing he has ever tasted but it scared him. If he became addicted, he would slowly lose control every time he drank from her.

When Lucy started to feel tired, she squeezed Natsu's hand. The vampire's eyes snapped open and he slowly pulled his teeth out. He kissed the wound he left on Lucy's shoulder, covering it with her shirt, and pulled away to look at her face.

He was surprised to see his beloved girlfriend smiling at him. She seemed okay which helped Natsu relax.

"Are you feeling better?" The pinkette nodded and wiped his mouth, picking Lucy up "ready to go back to class?"

The blonde yelped and jumped out of Natsu's arms "you can't carry me! People will think it's weird.." she simply grabbed his hand, starting to walk back to the class.

Time skip: after class.

Lucy was packing up her things when Erza walked over to her, smiling "hello Lucy."

The blonde smiled at her friend "hey Erza! How's Jellal?" The scarlet haired girl formed a blush on her cheeks.

"He's okay."

Lucy noticed a mark on Erza's shoulder "Erza, What is that?" The scarlet haired vampire blushed more, putting her hand over the mark "I'll explain later at the party. You are going, right?" Lucy nodded, smiling.

"Yeah, I am." Erza smiled. She was planning on telling Lucy about her being a vampire, it was a reasonable thing to do. When Erza was younger, she was turned. They used her to create an army of vampires. That's how she met Jellal, a pure blood.

Lucy got up, smiling "shall we go?" Erza laughed softly and nodded, walking out of the classroom with Lucy.

I rewrote this chapter three times because I never liked how it ended, still don't like this one but I guess it's better? Maybe?
