Falling For A Vampire ✔️

Chapter 31.

Okay so here's a little recap. A while ago, the vampires of fairy tail had to battle Zeref (basically the last chapters of fairy tail) and so things were revealed. No human of fairy tail ever knew about the battle but Natsu told Lucy about it when he revealed that he was a vampire. Even though they battled Zeref, they never killed him. The boy kinda just disappeared so now he's back. That's the recap that no one really needed but I wanted to make sure no one was confused

Zeref threw the heart to the side, shrugging "not apart of my plan but it'll do." Zeref looked at the blonde and smirked, running off. Levy looked up and her eyes widened in horror "L-Lu!" Levy crawled over to her best friend while Natsu crouched down, grabbing Lucy's hand.

Levy cupped Lucy's face "Lu, Lu please..c-c'mon..get up.." Levy shook her slightly, staring at the girl's eyes "Lu..p-please" Levy fell onto the blondes stomach, tears soaking Lucy's ragged shirt. Natsu grabbed Lucy's face "Luce, this isn't funny!"

Gray ran over and his breath hitched "Lucy.." Gray slowly walked over, tears clouding his vision "little sis..?" Gray crouched down and grabbed Lucy's hand. Laxus sped towards them and turned his head in the other direction "I'll go after the bastard. Gray, join me."

Gray growled but obeyed, following the blonde vampire. Natsu closed Lucy's eyes and gripped her hand "Lucy..please..."

Levy sobbed into Lucy's shirt or what was left of it. Wendy stood in front of them with Juvia and Lisanna in her arms "Lucy, Levy I'm-" Wendy's eyes widened in horror as she saw Lucy's limp body. The girl ran over and carefully set Lisanna and Juvia down before grabbing onto Lucy "I-I can still save her!"

Wendy bit into her wrist and shoved it into Lucy's mouth "c-come on..drink it!" Wendy sobbed as she kept forcing her wrist into Lucy's mouth. Natsu pulled her away and Levy hugged her.

"She's g-gone, Wendy.." Levy whispered softly, scared she'll start sobbing again. Wendy shook her head and buried her face into Levy's shoulder. Lisanna and Juvia were hugging Lucy's body as Gajeel came over to them.

Gajeel picked up Levy and rubbed her back "I gotcha..I gotcha.." Gajeel looked at Lucy's body with teary eyes but he quickly wiped them "Natsu, get your revenge. I'll help-"

Gajeel was blown back from a huge gust of wind. Gajeel tightened his grip on Levy, holding her close as his back hit a wall. Natsu gripped onto the ground, holding Juvia, Lisanna, and Lucy's body so they wouldn't get blown away. Wendy stood in front of Juvia, tears falling down her cheeks as Zeref stood in front of her "y-you killed Lucy.."

Zeref looked at the lifeless body and shrugged "that? She wasn't worth anything. Simply a fledgling." Zeref grabbed Wendy's throat "but you, you could be worth something" Zeref grinned and Wendy closed her eyes.

When she opened them, they were green.

Zeref was blown far from the group and Wendy chased after him. Natsu picked up Juvia and Lisanna, running to Gajeel. Natsu set the girls down "keep them safe but keep an eye on Juvia, Zeref is after her."

Gajeel nodded and grabbed Natsu's shoulder when he saw his eyes darkening "don't lose control."

Natsu didn't answer as he ran after Wendy.

Kagura turned her head to the side, sighing "I guess it's my turn...Jellal! Come take care of them." Kagura stood up as Jellal took her place next to the two girls. Jellal hugged Erza and kissed her head "I'm here.."

Erza held onto his hand as Kagura smiled softly "I'll be back." Kagura held up two fingers and a bright light surrounded her as she disappeared. Erza held onto Jellal "did you check up on the girls..?" Erza smiled up at Jellal, excited to know that her friends were okay.
