Clays POV
Entering the dark room, there was pure silence... the only sound present was that of my own heartbeat, echoing like a drum through my mind.
As my eyes slowly adjusted to the darkness, my mind began playing games with me... constantly hearing noises, seeing things.
Quietly trying to explore the darkness, I noticed what looked like a light switch on the wall.
Looking at it I could hear the sensible part of me saying 'Clay leave it... find Hannah.' The truth was, as much as I wanted to, I couldn't. I knew what Hannah would say... I needed to see him.
As I hit the switch, the room suddenly became engulfed in a deep red glow.
Turning around I began thinking about everything... What I wanted to say, what I needed to know... everything that's happened.
As my eyes began to focus through the red haze, I froze.
I could feel my heartbeat slowing... the shock so intense, I could feel myself forgeting to breath.
He was just sat there, like nothing had happened, like everything was ok...
At that moment, I thought about the events of that night. Everything that had happened... him, Hannah...
Turning his head slowly, he looked at me...
"Clay."
Hannah's POV
Continuously I sat watching the entrance to the gym, one eye on the clock and the other on the door. I started worrying about Clay more and more, practice had nearly finished and there was still no sign of him.
Unfortunately, she was still here... Chloe.
Her constant looks, they'd now begun to frustrate me. Mixed with my growing anxiety of the whereabouts of Clay, it was the last thing I needed.
Me and Jess, our attempts to gain Justin's attention had failed time and time again, it was no use... he couldn't hear us.
Minutes later, as the coach finally blew his whistle something happened, my growing anxiety peaked. Without thinking I stepped onto the court... I had the worst feeling about Clay.
Clays POV
I couldn't answer, I just stood there with my mouth open... staring at him.
"Clay, you okay?"
His question, I didn't know how to answer it... was I okay? At that moment, I felt anything but okay...
"Jensen, come on what's up? Were you expecting someone else?"
My emotions had gone from one extreme, to another. When I entered the room, I was filled with anger, pain...I needed answers.
Now I'm in complete shock, not knowing how to reply...
I slowly nodded at him in agreement...
"Let me guess, you were expecting Tyler?"
Hannah's POV
"Justin...!"
The tone of my voice instantly gaining his attention...
"What's up Hannah, you okay?"
Justin could tell I wasn't... seeing me and Jess look at each other, It promoted him to ask again...
" Hannah, Jess... what's up?"
" Justin, it's Clay... hes not come back. We need to find him."
Justins face was full of confusion, at first he put it down to Clay needing a break from the game. After listening to me and Jess explain, he soon 're considered his previous statement.
