Hannah's POV

"Hey Clay, how are you doing honey?"

Seeing my mom's face when she sees Clay, I love it... it's as is if he's the son she never had. I'm sure sometimes she speaks to him more than me.

"Hey Mrs. Baker... s..sorry Olivia."

Clay makes me smile, his stutter realising his mistake...as usual his cuteness has no limits.

"I'm good thanks, how is the store doing?"

Watching Clay talk to my mom, it makes me realise just how different he is. I've had boyfriends sure, but I've never felt comfortable with anyone around my family... with Clay it's different, I feel relaxed, happy.

Seeing my mom's face when Clay takes interest, it's like she's in shock of his presence... It makes me smile everytime.

"It's going well thanks Clay, it has it's ups and downs... I'm just so lucky to have Hannah here to help"

Hearing my mom say that, I hated the fact I no longer worked at the crestmont... the fact I didn't work with Clay. I always remember building candy box towers together, I still find it amusing.

There was one shift I loved most, the night we sat on the roof...when Clay showed me the moon, it's a moment I'll remember forever.

"Hannah, are you ready honey?"

Hearing those words, I knew it was now time Clay would be going... the worst time of the day. In all honesty though, I enjoy helping my mom, besides... her and my dad aren't getting on great.

"Yeah I'm coming mom, one minute."

As I turned to see Clay out, he paused...

"Nice to see you Olivia, hope you have a good night."

I stopped and gazed at Clay, peering at my mom, her face was a mirror image of my own feelings... he surprises me everyday.

"You too Clay, take care honey."

My mom was beaming, seeing her happy made me feel warm... Clay Jensen you have a gift.

"So I'll see you later? Meet you at mine after we've finished?"

Feeling Clays arms around me, it was the best feeling... I didn't want him to go.

"Try and stop me, besides we've got more twilight to watch."

I laughed at his comment, I couldnt wait already...

Clays POV

Leaving the bakers drug store, seeing couples walk through the town hand in hand... I missed Hannah already.

If there wasn't something I needed to do, I could have stayed there all night. I love spending time with Hannah and her family... they make me feel like the person I want to be.

With Hannah having to help her mom, I knew it would be the the best opportunity I'd get to visit him, say what I needed to say... although a part of me wishes Hannah was still here.

As I made my way to the bat mobile, I noticed someone, a face I hadn't seen in ages... someone I once knew well.

" Hey Clay..."

Opening my car door, I was surprised to hear their voice.

Turning round she smiled at me... something I remembered well.

"Hey Skye, what's up... how's it going??"

Seeing skye again, it feels like it's been so long. She looks different every time I see her, usually angry... unhappy with the world.
