Clay's POV

When I thought of coming home, I imagined being happy...

The only thing that makes me happy is Hannah.

When she's gone... its different.

I haven't stoped thinking about what's happened... it's all I've done since waking up. I thought it would get better coming home, i was wrong. Everythings playing on my mind constantly...

Last night... I found myself searching through the trash.

That letter... threatening me.

I never paid attention to it, I threw it straight in the bin... what if it said something else? What if it had a clue on?

I never found it...

Laying in the bath... I feel like I'm going crazy. I'm worried... about everything. What if Hannah got hurt? my family? I can't let that happen...

I wish I could talk to her so much, but the last thing I want is to upset her...shes going through so much... everything thats happened. It all makes me so angry...! Why can't people just leave us alone...?

It's not just about what's happened, theres just over a week untill the trial begins. It still plays on my mind wether Bryce has something to do with all of this... is it Tyler...? Zack?

Earlier in the week Justin and Jess visited us...

Justin told me that Tyler has been absent... when he has been in, he's been acting weird ignoring everyone.

Him visiting everyones houses... he's got to have something to do with those packages... that picture.

Lainies POV

How long is Clay going to take in the bathroom? He's been up there forever...

He's not been himself, since waking up it's as if he's been distant, the only time he's been the Clay I know is when he's with Hannah.

She's lovely...they're both perfect for each other, I just want Clay to open up.

" Hannah, lunch is ready honey..."

I can see how Clay fell for Hannah... she has the most beautiful smile, she's a pleasure to have around.

"Hey... thanks Lainie, I'm so hungry! It looks amazing. "

"You're very welcome, let's eat while it's warm... Clay can have his when he's ready."

I sat down knowing I needed to talk to Hannah, it was the perfect opportunity with Clay upstairs.

Hannah's POV

Lainie makes the best food.

I began smiling as I made a mental note to myself...'never let my mom hear me say that'

I cant help it, I feel so comfortable at Clays. His parents, they're great... plus things aren't good at home.

"This is so good Lainie, you seriously need to teach me how to cook."

Lainies smile instantly caused me to blush...

"Of course, have you cooked before?"

I sat grinning, thinking of the time I attempted to cook for Clay...

"Well... I've tried but It didn't go to plan shall we say."

We both started laughing as I explained what happened...

"Clay's face was a picture... he worked out instantly that I didn't have a clue what to do... his face, it was so funny."

I love seeing Lainie smile, it's nice to see her happy... it feels like she hasn't in so long... I knew that feeling well.
