Next September

"Wedding" Party

DISCLAIMER: All of the chapters up to this one were pre-written so if I miss an update day that's because I have writers block.

   "Are those decorations straight Butterfly?" Popcorn called up to her friend on the ladder.

"What's wrong with gay decorations Popcorn? Hmmm?"

"Huh, there's no time for this, are they straight or not?"

The pink troll hopped off the ladder, "as straight as they'll ever be"

"Great, Cooper..." she walked towards him on the other side of the field, "how's food coming?"

"Well desert is going great!" He paused, "but I did send Guy to get more ingredients...or was it Popcorn?" He looked at her puzzled.

"I'm Popcorn....Cooper"

He stared at her, "oh, o-oh right! I knew that!" He laughed.

Popcorn playfully rolled her eyes and moved on to the next troll, "Dj! How's music coming?"

"Well I'd say it's going great" Suki responded.

"Can you ad in a couple plays of What's New Pussycat onto the list?!" Butterfly called from across the field.

"Um....sure" the Dj said.

"Seems like this is all taken care of" she said to herself, "keep up the great work everybody!"

"Boo!"

Popcorn gasped and quickly turned around to see Guy laughing.

"Haha...your so cute when you're scared".

"Don't do that!" She slugged him in the shoulder.

"Come On. I know you like the attention" he smirked.

"Whatever. Do you have the things Cooper sent you to get?"

"I was supposed to get something?" GD joked.

"Yes!!"

"I'm kidding, Pop"

She rolled her eyes, "just...get your ass over here" Popcorn pulled him by the arm to where Cooper was preparing food.

"Poppy! You ready?" Branch called from the doorway.

"One sec!"

   He stood there for a minute when he heard footsteps approaching him. Branch looked up to see Poppy standing there. She was wearing a black party dress with long lace sleeves. She was had a black headband in her hair and a small necklace across her chest.

"You look beautiful tonight" he finally said.

She smiled, "You look pretty dapper yourself".

(I'm not giving Branch a tux just....no. Pretend he's wearing somethin' snazzy)

  He chuckled and held out a hand to her, "shall we?".

"I never thought you'd ask" Poppy giggled and set her hand in his.

With that the two walked hand and hand to the party.

"Let's get this party started!" Dj Suki shouted as the trolls cheered.

  The whole village had shown up and every was having a great time either dancing or hanging out with friends.

  Poppy, Branch and all their friends were in a small group in the center. Popcorn and Guy were dancing, the Twins and Butterfly were dazzling over Poppy and her ring, and others swirled around them chatting and laughing.

   Poppy was running all over the place greeting trolls who came to the party and Branch just kinda followed. Eventually they found their way back to their friends when GD wrapped an arm around Branch.

"So all these ladies are obsessing over Poppy's ring, which is great and all, but where the hell is your's?" He asked slightly falling over. Branch held a hand out to him.
He looked at it for a second then started to chuckle.

"Pfft....dude...that's the gayest ring I've ever seen" he laughed.

"Are you drunk?" Branch asked dodging the insult.

"Nooo...yeah maybe a little".

"What would Popcorn say?".

"Shhhh lower your-"

"I knew it!"

The guys turned around to see Popcorn behind them.

"This is where I lost my hairpin last year" she dropped to the ground, acting strange.

"Her too?" the blue troll turned to his friend again.

"Yeah....don't lose your gay swag buddy" GD said as he stepped away.

   Branch glanced around the crowd when he spotted Poppy talking to an unfamiliar troll. He decided to approach them, "Hey Pop-"

"Oh! Branch! We were just talking about you! " Poppy grabbed his arm, "Branch this is Dr. Blackthorne, Dr. this is my fiancé, Branch" she grinned.

   Dr. Blackthorne smiled, "it's a pleasure to meet you" he said, "I've known Poppy here for quite some time and it makes me so happy she has someone like you in her life".

Branch blushed slightly, "o-oh th-thank you".

"No problem" he turned back to Poppy, "welp I didn't plan on staying long and I really must be going. It was very nice meeting you!" He called as he left.

"Where do you know him from?" Branch asked.

"He's just an old friend. Come on and dance with me" she said pulling him to the crowd.

"Alright, I'm here" the blue troll said as she approached Poppy's pod.

"Ok. Is anyone around?" The male said through the waky-talky.

"No. It really is deserted".

"I told you" he chuckled

"Ok I'm at the door, the lights are turned off"

"Poke your head inside. Is anyone sleeping"

She looked into the doorway and scanned the room, no one.
"All clear"

"Perfect, head towards the bathroom"

"The bathroom?!"

"Well where'd you store that crap? On the window sill?" He said sarcastically.

"Fine, Fine I'm going"

"It should be in the drawer to the far left"

"Far...left" the blue troll mumbled looking at the drawers, "found it" she opened it then paused.

"What? What's wrong?"

"Codswallaops, which one?" She exclaimed.

"What do you mean which one?"

"There's at least three"

"Well I don't-"

"Wait! Someone's coming" she pressed against a wall as a whistling troll passed by.

"Does it really matter?!"

"Shoot, he's coming this way"

"All of them! Just take them all and get outta there!"

"Hello?"

The blue troll clapped a hand to her mouth. Someone else was in the pod.

"Could of sworn I heard something" he mumbled than walking away.

The female troll gasped for air and scooped up the many bottles. She then waited for the other troll to leave and dashed out the door, "got em".
