Ava
Morning came sooner then I would have liked. Last night was one of the only times I had slept well. Over the course of me being here every night was a swirling fit of nightmares and other ungodly feelings.
I sit up in my bed and look around. My book was laying down right next to me with a bookmark sticking out. I smile softly at it picking it up and holding it close to my chest. I uncover myself and slowly creep out of the bed. The cold metal burns my feet. I scramble to put on my clothes and boots. I gently put my book back on my bed and open the large metal door.
I was giddy beyond belief. The way to the dining hall was not difficult in any way. The only reason it took me so long to reach the dining hall was I made it a personal goal to say hello to each and every single crew member. Most responded with a grunt, but some said hello back.
Once I was in the dining hall I sat across from Iroh. Zuko looked glum as usual. "Good morning Iroh! Princy!" Cheer radiated from my voice. Zuko didn't look up from his plate of dumplings. The cook places a plate of dumplings in front of me.
"Good morning Ava! You seem happy this morning." Iroh smiles at me. I nod shoving my face full of dumplings. "It wouldn't have anything to do with the visitor you had last night?" My eyes go wide as I choke down a dumpling. I look up from my plate and see that not only Iroh is looking at me, but Zuko as well.
"Iroh are you going senile? I didn't have a visitor." I laugh out.
"Well, you must have! I saw him leave your room!" Iroh eats another dumping.
"I think I would remember having a night-time escapade." I take another dumpling and plop it into my mouth.
"I remember him clearly. He had red hair, blue eyes, and was fairly tall. He looked directly at me as well." Zuko was scowling, Iroh was indifferent, and I was pale white. There was no way he saw Jordan. Jordan should have been nothing but a hallucination. A figment of my mind meant to do nothing but torture me with what could no longer be real.
I quickly scramble to pull out my phone and look through the photos. I found one dated far back. One before my family was sent into discord. It was Jordan, Mikey, mom, dad, and I. I point to Jordan and turn the phone around. "Was it him Iroh?" Tears weld up in my eyes.
"Why, yes, it was! You two seemed to have known each other for a long time." I stood up quickly and shove my phone back in my pocket.
"I'm going to go for a walk before we head back out. I-" I look back at them, "I won't be long." I give a weak smile before power walking out.

The area was heavily wooded. The tall trees clung closely to each other. I sat beneath a tree my legs folded and my mind racing. I couldn't wrap my head around how Iroh saw Jordan. I was sad, confused, but most all I was angry. Nothing was adding up and I couldn't seem to form a logical explanation.
"Twinky... let me explain." I look behind me. Jorden cowered behind me. Rage flowed in my veins.
"Explain what? That Iroh could see you? That you're supposed to be in a different world? Go ahead Jordan! Explain it to me!" I may not be one quick to anger, but when I do get angry it has the wrath of one thousand chihuahuas.
"Before I start... You need to know that I could tell you anything..." Jorden puts his hands to his side and raises himself up. I go to yell at him again but a single hand raises and I shut up.
"Let me start from the beginning... When I was little only about three or four our mother divorced my father. Not that I blame her, father was not a good man. A few years later she met David. I didn't like him at first, he took my mother away from me. But I realized that he treated her the way a man should. They got married fast and not long after Mikey was born. Mom and David cried when he was born. All I could think of was how I would help him. Mikey was well..." He chuckled dryly and dropped to the floor, "He was a little turd. Always thought he could fight me. Things were normal until one day. Mom got really sick. She was in the hospital and they didn't think she was gonna make it.
