We have been on this bison for two days straight. I was so bored and very irritated. I was trying to take a nap to see if that would pass time faster. "I'm not one to complain but can't Appa fly any higher," Sokka complained. I growled and put my hands on my ears.
"I have an idea, why don't we all get on your back and you can fly us to the North Pole?" Aang shouts from his place. I growl louder.
"I would love too! Everybody hop on! Sokka is ready for take off!" Sokka shouts back. I shoot up and grab hold of Sokka's shirt pulling him to my face.
"If you even mutter one more word I will slice you up and feed you to the turtles!" I shove him back and slam my body back onto the saddle and place my blanket on top of me. Bai curls up next to me.
"Look, we're all just a little tired and cranky because we've been flying for two days straight," Katara says calmly.
"And for what? We can't even find the Northern Water Tribe. There's nothing up here!" Sokka shouts again. I slowly sit up and stare at him my gaze narrowing. Little red lines pass through my body.
"I said..." He turns to look at me, fear in his eyes, "Shut up... or I will feed you to the turtles!" I launch at him only to be pulled back by Katara. I start to headbutt at Sokka. Bai being the good koala sheep that he was butted into Sokka for me.
All of a sudden an ice wall forms in front of us. We swiftly dodge only for more to form around us. A final one formed and before Appa had the chance to fly above it caught his leg causing him to crash into the water. More ice formed around us allowing several boats to come out of hiding. "They're waterbenders! We found the Water Tribe!" Katara shouts excitedly.
----------
"There it is!" Aang shouts pulling me out of my almost sleep. I look up and see a large wall with the Water Tribe logo on it. I gasp slightly at the sight of the wall. It was nothing like the cartoon. It was detailed and you could see every single snowflake glisten.
"The Northern Water Tribe..." Katara gasps amazed by the city.
"We're finally here," Sokka gaps out as well clearly just as amazed. Several waterbenders bend a tunnel into the water and Appa swims through the tunnel. Once inside several more waterbenders bent water in between the two walls.
"I can't believe how many waterbenders live up here!" Katara muses.
"We'll find a master to teach us, no problem!" Aang says right as the second wall drops. We float through and continue down this little canal-like river. For the first time, I notice just how cold it even with my blanket wrapped around me. I would use firebending but that won't look good.
"Hey, so when we get someplace can I get some new clothes? These are fine but they are red and have little to no coverage." No one seems to notice me speaking as they are too interested in what is going on.
It doesn't take long before Sokka sees Princess Yue. The boat she is on is passing quickly so he slides down on Appa's tail. He adopts a grin that just screams 'I am in love' and I can't help but laugh.
"This place is beautiful," Katara says now sitting on Appa's head.
"Yeah, she is..." Sokka comments quietly. Katara looks at him with a confused look. I lean over the saddle and look at the back of his head.
"Sokka! GET IT, QUEEN!" Everyone on the shore and on the boats surrounding look at me. I false cough, "Inside joke." He didn't seem to care and didn't even look at me. I sigh, he is going to get his heartbroken.
----------
It was night time now and we were in the palace. A few women were nice enough to see just how cold I was and gave me better clothes. It looks almost the same as Katara's except it was a much deeper color blue. I kept my red clothes just in case and shoved them in my backpack. However, even with the new clothes I still had to wrap a blanket around my body to keep warm.
