The day was warm and the fresh spring air surrounded us. Azar was having me meditate to attempt to connect myself with the spirit world better. When I asked her why I was greeted with the same cold silence that she seemed so fond of. It was scary how often our personalities collided.

Needless to say, it was rather hard to meditate and think of nothing when there always seemed to be a distant singing. "Aang!" Surprise fills me and I open my eyes quickly, "Why are we going down?" I look over the saddle and see that we are in fact going down.

"What?" Aang wipes his forehead with the back of his hand, "I didn't even notice."

"Are you noticing now?" Sokka asks standing up and placing one hand on the saddle to keep him balanced.

"Is something wrong?" Katara asks also standing up and moving next to Sokka.

"I know this is gonna sound weird, but... I think the swamp is... calling to me." Aang's voice is flat and almost full of desperation.

"I feel it too," I mumbled from my spot at the back of the saddle.

"It is telling ya where we can get something to eat?" Sokka asks moving his hand to grip his stomach.

"No, I... I think it wants us to land there." Aang says looking down at the swamp. I look over the edge of the saddle once more and feel the faint sing in the back of my head.

"No offense to the swamp, but I don't see any land there to land on." Sokka moves back into the middle of the saddle and sits down. Katara follows him.

"I don't know... Bumi said to learn earthbending I would have to wait and listen, and now I'm actually hearing the earth. Do you want me to ignore it?" Aang looks back at us. Sokka and Katara share a glace.

They both look over the edge of the saddle, "Yes," Sokka says.

"I don't know... There's something ominous about that place." Katara shudders.

Appa groans and Momo chitters in Aang's ear Bai shoves his head into my knee and lets out a small bleet. Both seem to hate the idea of landing. "See Even Appa, Momo, and Bai don't like it here."

"Okay, since everyone feels so strongly about this... bye swamp." Aang pulls on the reigns making us ascend. The singing grows louder and louder. It almost sounds desperate. "Yip yip!"

A loud rumbling causes us to look behind. A sudden tornado was twirling in the air. I was no stranger to tornados, but this, we were in the air now. "You better throw in an extra "yip"! We gotta move!" Appa desperately attempts to maneuver out of the way of the tornado. Sokka gets lifted off of the saddle. Katara and I both grab one of his hands but we are unable to pull him back down. Aang spots this and creates a ball of air around us. Sokka finally drops onto the saddle.

The sky grows darker and darker as we are sucked into the swirling twister. Aang struggles to hold the ball of air going. I attempt to help him by using my own airbending but it doesn't get us far. Appa's foot escapes the airball and we are thrown away from him and Momo.

We are sent hurtling towards the ground. Sokka and Katara land roughly in the water as Aang and I use airbending to secure our gentle fall. Sokka and Katara stand up while groaning. "Where's Appa and Momo?" Aang looks around for the bison and lemur. Aang jumps from tree to tree working his way up to the break in the canopy. "Appa! Momo! Bai!" Even from all the way down here, we could hear him.

"Bai baby!" I wait to hear a response but there is nothing. "Todo I don't think we're in Kansas anymore," I mutter out looking at the trees. They were tall and I almost felt trapped.
