Ava
"It's pricey, but I really do like it." Sokka looked at the bag with interest. His hand cupping his chin and playing with this nonexistent beard hair.
"Then you should get it. You deserve something nice." Katara approves dishearteningly.
"I do, don't I?" Sokka turns to Katara as he practically shouts at her, he turns back to the bag looking defeated, "But no. It's too expensive, I shouldn't." I roll my eyes and shove Bai off my lap. Bai rushes to Aang with a cry as I stand up and move beside Sokka.
"Sokka, you need to get this bag." I put my hand on his shoulder.
"Why is it some future thing?" He turns and looks at me.
I darken my face and look at him seriously, "Sokka if you don't get this bag it will lead to the end of the world."
"R-really?" Sokka gulps.
I break down laughing and clutch my stomach, "No you big dork, I'm just Joshing ya. Get the bag if you want."
"Joshing me....? You know what just give me the money I'm buying the bag." Sokka holds out his hand and waits for the money to be dropped into it. I laugh and walk away from him.
Aang, Katara, and I move away from Sokka and his bag. A man from behind us turns around and puts a hand on Aang's shoulder, "Psst, psst. Hey, you kids like earthbending? You like throwing rocks?"
"You bet your balls I do!" I exclaim. This man looked very common by earth kingdom standards but he was still very handsome. He had a goat beard and two long thin lines for a mustache. His skin was tan and he was fit.
"Then check out Master Yu's Earthbending Academy." The man handed us a flyer. He flashes us a grin and walks away.
Aang looks over the flyer and turns it around. There is a picture of Master Yu on the back, smiling and sporting the same facial hair as the man passing out the flyers. "Look, there's a coupon on the back. The first lesson is free."
Katara crosses her arms and leads over Aang's shoulder. "Who knows? This Master Yu could be the earthbending teacher you've been looking for." Sokka rushes over to our side clutching his bag like it is a baby.
----------
"So this is a fun way to spend our time." I lean forward and heave Bai onto my lap.
"Come on Ava we are just waiting for Aang to get out of class." Katara scolds me.
"Look I don't have a big attention span. I'm like a goldfish. Gotta know what is right in front of me." I lean on the wall and stroke Bai's ears.
"What's a goldfish?" I tilt my head and look at Katara.
"Don't worry about it. Hey, do you guys know how to play patty cake?"
----------
"He's not the one." I launch awake accidentally shoving Bai off of me.
"Not the squirrels!" I blink a few times and look around. "You're not squirrels... I'm not dreaming..." I pop my back and smack my face, "So he wasn't the one Aang?" Aang shakes his head.
The last of the students file through the dojo arch. Two teenage boys, maybe 13 or 14, leave last walking side by side, "I think The Boulder is gonna win back the belt at Earth Rumble 6."
"He's gonna have to fight his way through the best earthbenders in the world to even get a shot at the champ." Aang's eyes go wide as he rushes after the two boys.
"Excuse me, but where is this earthbending tournament exactly?" Aang smiles at the two boys.
The boys hunch down to look at Aang, "It's on the Island of Noneoya - none o' ya business!" They both laugh and strut away.
