Chapter Four
She opened the doors to her home. It wasn't exactly it typical vampire mansion but you couldn't say it wasn't that typical either, if you know what I mean. The only thing that wasn't making it as typical is that it wasn't as dark as you would imagine it to be. "Hey, how was your day?" Her dad greeted her as she walked in and threw herself on the couch. "Great." She giggled as her dad took a seat next to her. "How was yours?" She asked. Rina was actually really close with her dad, and was a sweet person- she was just done with school and all the people there. "Great." He mimicked his daughter with a sarcastic tone, laughing along with her.
The two talked for a while, "Namjoon called me." Her dad spoke up. Rina cringed at the name, why not just call him Mr.Kim. It's so weird calling professors by their first name. "Okay and?" She giggled, soon stopping as her dad gave her a serious look. "You have to stop skipping classes!" He jokingly shoved his daughter before starting to laugh. "I know it's a torture to keep on going to school over and over again but you chose that." He reasoned, slipping a reminder that she had a choice. The choice was to keep on going to school until she finds something she wants to do, or to find a job and start working. She chose to go to school, obviously, as she didn't want any jobs and she has been going to that same school for a few decades. Literally. "I know. I'll skip less." Rina wrapped her pinky around her dads, connecting the pads of their palms into a promise. "And take those exams." Her dad said before unwrapping their pinkies. She only nodded and watched him get up. He walked over to the fridge and sighed. "I forgot to buy some packs." He groaned. Rina stood up, taking a plastic bag off of the counter, "I'll go." Her dad nodded, continuing to look into the fridge. Rina quickly kissed her dads cheek as a goodbye and left the house.
Rina was in the store within a second and was pondering between AB and A blood for her dad. She had her favourite, which was A, not that she can't drink anything else- it just doesn't taste good in her opinion but every vampire for themselves. "Fuck it." She shrugged and took the A pack. She bought 20 packs, 10 for each, and put them all in the plastic bag she brought. As the night had already fallen, and the sun disappeared, she could walk peacefully if she wanted. Rina decided to take a route that goes over the bridge as she loves to see how the river glistens under the moon's shine. With the fresh air fulling up her chest, she felt so relaxed to the point of falling asleep which she obviously can't so it was that relaxing.
Jungkook, poor Jungkook, he was sitting on the railings of the bridge. He didn't go home from the alley, he went here instead. Jungkook climbed up the metal rails and let his legs dangle as he looked at the glistening water. He wished to be on the bottom, his lungs contacting and burning with the desire of getting air and slowly taking his life. He was contemplating if he should let himself fall and his thoughts were only making him jump sooner.
