Chapter Twenty-three

Sunday flew by with the two spending another whole day together. They were laughing, having fun and made each other's hearts flutter.

Now, Monday, Jungkook didn't sleep all night as his whole body was throbbing in pain and his parents were screaming at each other after he regained his consciousness. He was waiting for Rina's text that she was in front just so he can run out. A message popped up on his phone screen, that was now cracked as his mom threw it against the wall, and he got excited as it was from the vampire he was thinking about all night long. The text said that she's in front and Jungkook quickly slipped into his favourite hoodie, applied some foundation and swung his bag over his shoulders before as quietly and quickly possible running out.

As soon as he got out, Rina started running towards him and jumped on him. He caught her mostly out of reflex as he was beyond surprised. Her arms were around his neck while his hands were supporting her body by staying under her thighs. Once he regained his composure, he giggled, his arms going and tightly securing around her waist as he started spinning around. The two started laughing, tightening their hold on each other. It was as of they didn't see each other for years, as if they were in a romantic relationship, and just now saw each other.

After the unofficial couple got dizzy from all the spinning, Jungkook stopped and let Rina's feet touch the ground- still keeping each other tightly to themselves. "I missed you~." Rina mumbled, "I thought you would die since we were late yesterday!" Rina spoke into his chest which only made Jungkook squeeze her body tighter. "I thought so too." He chuckled, and tried to change to topic by asking how was her dad. "Amazing, he wants to see you soon." She poked Jungkook's arm, the two finally letting go of each other and walking behind the corner. Jungkook suddenly got nervous just by imagining it, he was sure that if he ever met her dad- conscious- her dad would despise him. No words were shared after since they had to get to school and Jungkook was on Rina's back once again, her bag held by him so he could get comfy. The male was starting to get concerned about that because he was starting to get too comfortable being on her.

As the two walked into the classroom, that was surprisingly full, while holding hands. Their entire class perked up, thinking it was the teacher but saw them instead. "Oh boy." Rina mumbled as she rolled her eyes, squeezing Jungkook's hand that he tried to retreat. "Does Rina have to hold your hand so you could walk or talk, you unwanted loser." A guy in their class spat which sent all of them laughing. "What a baby.", "I smell a mommy kink." Rina tugged on Jungkook's arm and dragged him towards his seat, "ignore." She kept mumbling to him and he tried to listen. Their hands parted as they went to sit at their seats.

The loud laughter was stopped by a professor that came in. It wasn't Mr.Kim and Rina was starting to get curious. "Hello, I'm Mr. Park and I'm your substitute until Namjoo- Mr.Kim returns." The professor introduced to only a few students that were actually listening. "What happened to Mr.Kim?" Rina questioned, without a raised hand or anything. The professor heaved a sigh as he heard her, "I can't tell you." He shook his head as he looked at Rina. "Why not?" The girl pushed, resting her face on her palm with a questionable look. "Because he wouldn't want all of you to know about his child after his wife gives bir- God damnit." The professor groaned, hiding his face in his big hands while shaking his head. Rina smiled as she succeeded and was honestly happy for him, she knew that Mr. Kim and his wife- who is thankfully a vampire- were trying to have a child for some time time. "You didn't hear anything!" The professor yelled before clearing his throat and attempting to start the lesson.

The bell rang for the 4th time today and the unofficial couple was headed to the cafeteria. Everything was the same, the same order, sharing a glass of coke, the same table in the corner, the only thing that wasn't the same was the fact that there was no Mr.Kim to bring Rina her pack of blood.
