Chapter Five
Rina's gray eyes widened upon seeing a figure on the railings, feet dangling and ready to drop. She hurried over, trying to look as normal as possible but fast so she doesn't look suspicious in case someone sees her. "Don't!" She grabbed the figure by the hood the person was wearing and slowly pulled them down. The person was taken aback by the sudden action. "Don't end it, I'm sure it will get better. I promise you it will." Rina carefully worded and made a promise she's not sure she can keep, since she can't control the persons life. She took off the persons hood and was mortified by the face.
"Jungkook, I swear to God- the fuck were you thinking?!" She lightly hit his shoulder as her voice got louder. She noticed Jungkook's shocked expression, that soon formed into fear then embarrassment before his eyes rolled back into his head. Jungkook's head hit Rina's shoulder as he went unconscious. "Holy shit. What am I supposed to do with you, idiot." She muttered to herself once again. Rina looked around for any sign of humans, put the plastic bag to Jungkook's forearm and wrapped his arms around her neck before struggling to lift him up. She wasn't struggling because of his weight- he wouldn't be heavy for her even if she was human- but it was his damn height that messed her up. Once she finally managed to wrap his legs around her waist, she adjusted him by making his body hop as she then put her hands on his thighs. "Jungkook. Where the fuck do you live?" She questioned the boy on her back even though she knew he wasn't gonna answer. So with a sigh, she made her way back to her house.
"Rina, did you- I thought about packs not humans." The said girl's dad stood wide eyed in front of her. She rolled her eyes but laughed, it did sound funny in some way. She dropped Jungkook's unconscious body on the couch, unwrapping the bag from his arm and giving it to her dad. "There ya go," she showed her dad an eye smile as she handed it to him. "Cool but what's the story behind this?" Her dad motioned towards the boy, confusion confirming his young-looking features. "He's an idiot..," Rina trailed off as she looked at his face, "I'll put him in the guest room." She nodded to herself and took him upstairs.
Once he was on the bed that no-one really used, she sat on the empty spot next to him in a cross-legged position. She bit her fluffy lip as regret washed upon her, maybe she finally realized that her words hurt him. "Hey, Kook." She nudged the boys shoulder. "I'm sorry, kay?" She uncomfortably shifted in her spot. "Ugh, that's too cliche." She groaned, throwing her head back and tried to think of another way to apologize as she really did feel bad. "Okay, yeah, I know I was harsh and shit but really? Why would you listen to me? You're literally the biggest idiot I've ever met!" She lightly hit the spot she nudged on earlier as she tried not to yell.
Rina almost let out a scream as Jungkook's body shifted and his eyes fluttered open. No, it wasn't because she got scared, it was because she almost thought he didn't look ugly. Almost doesn't count- she thought, reassuring herself before putting a scowl on her face.
