Chapter Sixteen
Rina looked all over her room to find the navy blue bag that she hid somewhere in her closet a few years ago. Once she found it, she checked for any stains or ripped spots which she either cleaned or sewed up since she had a plenty of time on her hands- nights are usually painfully long for her even if she has the TV turned on. She poked her finger while sewing up a spot, wincing she first rubbed the finger on her clothes but once she looked at it, the little dot she made sewed itself back together. For things like that, she was glad she was a vampire.
Once she was done with her bag and let it dry as she decided to wash it because it reeked of some unidentifiable smell that made her almost throw up twice, she started going over her desk and finding all the empty notebooks, ripping out a few pages that had some random sentences written on it. She then took out both of the papers that Jungkook gave her and ironed them out by using the edge of her desk and then glued the papers on into different notebooks as she finally designated each one for a certain lesson instead of piling it in one notebook and getting lost.
With a proud smile, she packed her bag for school once the bag was dry enough and started getting ready to pick Jungkook up as the night flew by. She typed out another text for Jungkook to wake up to while brushing her teeth.
Jungkook's phone dinged with the text from Rina. With a groan, he got up, replied to her a good morning text before starting to get ready. He first washed his face, wincing at the contact the water made with his bruises, and started lightly rubbing off the dried blood off. Then proceeding by brushing his teeth and applying a few layers of foundation to cover everything up.
As he swung his bag over his shoulder after getting dressed, his phone dinged with a message once again. A smile spread across his uneven lips as Rina texted she was waiting in front. He tip toed out, locking the doors after himself before excitedly running down the stairs.
Rina's smile only got wider as she saw him stumble out of the apartment. "Mor- holy shit." Jungkook covered his mouth as his eyes widened. Rina, already knowing what it was, started turning around while laughing. "You like it?" She asked, stopping to look at him. "I don't know. Never thought I'd see you with a bag." He chuckled and started walking. Rina automatically followed, giggling to herself as she clutched the straps that were hanging from the sides. "I know, it's so weird!" Rina beamed, her eyes turning into half moons as she smiled. If it weren't from all those layers of foundation Jungkook put on himself, his cheeks would be flaming red. She looked too cute for him today, it made his heart skip a beat.
"Oh! I almost forgot!" Jungkook came to a halt as he crouched down and let his bag fall in front of him so he can get the clothes back. "Thank you again." He said, handing the black clothing to Rina. She nodded, mimicking his action to put the clothes in her bag. "It smells funny." Rina chuckled, grimacing and taking the clothes away from her nose and shoving it into her bag. Jungkook felt his heart race in panic, "I don't know. My nose is stuffy." He closed his eyes as he lied, starting to walk towards the school in silence.

The lessons went by quickly, Rina got strange and proud looks from her professors as soon as they saw the bag next to her leg and an actual notebook on her table. But Rina purposely didn't pack a pencil case nor something to write with just so Jungkook can give her his, which he was happy to.
The two were currently in the cafeteria, Jungkook eating his burger while Rina sipped on the coke they decided to share since her stomach feels heavy after drinking all by herself and so does Jungkook's. "Rina!" The sudden whisper-yell from a familiar voice broke the little chat the two had. Rina looked to the person, feeling relieved as it was Mr.Kim. He handed her the pack under the table, "A, right?" He questioned, unsure if he got the right one. Rina nodded, looking over to the confused Jungkook. Mr.Kim noticed him, feeling panicky, "O-okay, I'll write it down!" He accidentally yelled before going away with an apologetic smile plastered on his face.
"What A?" Jungkook rose an eyebrow, taking a bite out of his food. Rina nervously smiled at her lap, poking the straw through the weirdly covered pack and bringing it up to her lips. "I, um, I got an A in his class so he was probably just making sure." Jungkook's lips formed an 'o'shape as he nodded. He isn't stupid though, of course he could tell she was lying. "What's that?" He pointed towards the blood pack in Rina's hands. "Medicine." She shrugged and took another sip.
Jungkook was jealous. He knew Rina lied about Mr.Kim and her getting an A. He was sure there was something going on between them, it has to be. Why would Mr.Kim always smile at her during his lessons, how come he would sometimes see them talking behind the school and now this? Jungkook was feeling frustrated. "I'll see you in the classroom." Jungkook informed, rather coldly but Rina didn't question as she only nodded and started walking away.
Since their next lesson was one of Mr.Kim's subjects, Jungkook decided to skip. He didn't feel like seeing his face after he made himself believe his professor was dating his crush. Yeah, Rina was his crush and it took him long enough to realize. Maybe that's why her words always hurt him more before.
He pushed those thoughts away and basically ran out of the building he was in.
