Chapter Forty-Two

By the time they got to the nurse, Rina's wound was naturally healed and she was lowkey panicking about it. She was starting to think about smashing her head against a wall once he was distracted or something but that wasn't gonna work. So she tried acting and lying even though it made her feel horrible. "Where are we going again?" Rina acted confused, but it only made Jungkook panic. "Shit, I pushed you really hard." He bit his lower lip and before Rina could say anything he started reassuring her. "Don' worry, it's gonna be okay. It's gonna heal up and never hurt again, I promise." Rina couldn't bite back the smile she flashed at him, he's way too cute. "I'm fine, Kook. You're the one who shouldn't worry." She lightly punched his arm and made a detour towards their classroom. "I'm fine, really. Look." She showed him the back of her head, "It's just some dye. It'll wash out." She lied through her smile. Quickly faking a pout as soon as she locked eyes with him, "you didn't notice. I thought you would like it." Jungkook immediately gulped down some guilt, "nono, it's pretty. I guess..," he mumbled.

2 Weeks Later

Jungkook wasn't present in school for the 3rd day in a row and Rina was very worried. She has been texting and calling him but got nothing in return from him. She was death glaring Sua that was laughing along with some guys across the hallway when she felt her phone vibrate inside of her pocket. She took a quick look at her vibrating phone once she fished it out, and expected it to be her dad, it surprised her that it was Kook calling.

"Oi, Rina" Felix leaned on the wall next to her as soon as she answered. She was about to smack him across the face as soon as he spoke but stopped herself once Jungkook started crying. "Oi, Kook." She shot a glare at Felix as she repeated what he said because of him. Felix surrended and mouthed 'Oi' with a mocking expression. Rina ignored him as she was too worried about Kook, "Kay. I'm on my way." She kept her phone over her ear and grabbed Felix. She covered the mic, "call the police once I text you the address, tell them they are trying to kill someone." Felix started asking questions but Rina just left in a hurry, she did hear him shout out a "okay" though.

Everything went almost the same as it went years ago. The only thing different was that Rina had to talk to the police that arrived shortly after she texted Felix. Jungkook's parents were arrested as it had all the evidence they needed, and took Jungkook to the hospital along with Rina since she wasn't leaving and was told that Jungkook is gonna have to talk to the officers and all those things that Rina shut out.

She was too nervous about Jungkook's reaction to his parents getting caught that she nervously shook her legs and played with Jungkook's fingers.

I literally wanted to delete this app n my profile n everything but couldnt.. i would have felt too guilty n i love writing but i keep forgetting that cuz im all over the place... like i havent danced in so long either bc im too sad without any good reason... like i have so many story ideas n one i rly cant wait to write but i would feel too guilty if i started it without finishing this one

And i didnt even notice i got 1K followers like holy shit is it real?? Like damn I thought i was gonna get barely 10 when I started writing my shit 😂😂

So.. ill try getting the next part published soon.. like... less than a month this time ( im sorry ) 😂
