Chapter Eleven

The two were done with school for the day. After eating, they went back in the classroom and didn't really leave until their classes were over. 

"Am I allowed to walk you home?" Rina laughed as she tugged on the hem of the shirt Jungkook was wearing for the hundredth time today. Jungkook didn't want his parents to see her but, strangely enough, he didn't want her to leave either- so he nodded. He swung his bag over his shoulder before noticing he left his hoodie in the classroom. "Shit. My hoodie." He whined, turning around but Rina took his arm and stopped him from going. "I'll go~." She announced and motioned him to wait. She wanted to get his trust and she's taking every chance she gets. 

As soon as her hands tangled themselves into Jungkook's hoodie, Mr.Kim called her. "Rina, how come you're suddenly cool with Jungkook?" Her professor and her dad's friend questioned. She shrugged, "He's cool, I like him." Mr.Kim rose an eyebrow at her answer, not buying it but she only rolled her eyes and went out, hugging the hoodie close to her chest. "See ya." She waved and closed the doors after her. 

Once Rina was in front of the front door's, exactly where she left Jungkook, her heart swelled with fear as she didn't see him anywhere. "Kook?" She called out, stepping out the doors. The school was already empty, only professors inside, so she didn't know what could have happened with Jungkook. Her steps became fast and turned into running as her ears picked up laughter behind the school. She was starting to get angry by the fact that she lost Jungkook, what would he think about her now? 

"Rina is only hanging out with you because of pity." A girl spat, the same girl from the alley. "Tell me, why aren't you dead yet? You're obviously a mistake." The girl's most likely boyfriend joined in, harshly pushing Jungkook back. Rina walked into the scene, her features showing nothing but anger.  "I bet you weren't planned nor wanted." The girl laughed at her own, horrible insult, her supposed to be boyfriend joining her. Jungkook wanted to die the moment Rina left him to get his hoodie, and now that she wasn't showing up is making him think she was the one who planned all of this and that hurt him more than the insults the two were throwing at him. 

"Hello, I heard my name." Rina stepped in, clutching Jungkook's hoodie in anger. Jungkook couldn't help but feel relieved as he looked at the short girl in front of him. The two dumb asses stopped laughing, looking at each other before continuing as if she came to help them instead of Jungkook. "Yes! Finally, we have been waiting. Finish him off, Rinrin." Rina cringed at the dumb nickname the girl threw at her, she honestly felt insulted by it. Jungkook on the other hand felt his heart break- he already assumed all this. "No, and ew. Kook, hold this." Rina grimaced as she gently pushed the hoodie into Jungkook's chest. "Oh no, you can just hang it on his nose. Look at that huge thing." The girl continued, slapping her knee as her boyfriend launched forwards in laughter, "Yeah man, leave some air for us too!" He added, wiping the tears that were forming out of laughter. "And I've had enough." Rina rolled her eyes, going to the girl and pulling her hair, her boyfriend too occupied laughing to even comprehend what's happening. Rina took the chance to just kick in between the legs of the male and send him crying on the floor- this time not crying out of laughter. 

"If I see you around Jungkook, who is my friend, again... your family might miss you." Rina forced a smile as she pushed the girl on the ground. Jungkook was in a daze, not because of the fact that Rina basically beat up the people who were being mean to him, but because she said he's her friend. 

Rina took Jungkook's arm and dragged him to the front of the school, "Are you okay? I'm so sorry for leaving you." She apologized, scanning over his face and body for any sign of injuries so she can have an excuse to actually kill the two. Jungkook nodded, eyes wide as he couldn't believe that the question even left his mouth- "Are we really friends?"
