Chapter Thirty

Jungkook let out a whine as he finally regained his consciousness. "Rina?" He tapped on the girls thigh before his doe eyes met hers. "What do you want, idiot." She spat at him, trying not to show how scared she actually was. Jungkook was confused, was I in a coma and had a dream about her being a vampire and becoming my girlfriend? He shook his head, confused.

"Um- ah- h-" Rina cut him off with a groan. "You're stuttering again!" Her groan turned into a giggle. "Cute~." She squeezed his cheek, confusing Jungkook even further.

"Wha-what?" Before Rina could start explaining and lessen his confusion, the doors of her room swung open. Her dad proudly walking in with a creepy smile on. "I knew it." He locked eyes with Jungkook as the boy felt a shiver run down his spine. "You brought my lunch over." He laughed, putting a hand over his dead heart. "Whatta good daughter." He took a step closer towards Jungkook. Jungkook instinctively wrapped his arms around Rina and hid his face by snuggling into his girlfriend.

"Dad~ you're scaring him." Rina chuckled as her hands played with Jungkook's hair. "I know, I wanted to scare him." Her dad laughed while sitting next to them. "So, I have nothing against you two but why is he here?" He tapped Jungkook's shoulder to which the boy lightly flinched. Rina wrapped her arms around him and sort of forced him to look at her dad. "He needed help." Rina shrugged. Her dad's face twisted into a vampire lenny face. "Not that kind of help!" She lightly kicked her dad. Jungkook's cheeks flushed, at least it was clear that he wasn't in a coma. 

"You know you can tell me everything, right?" Rina's dad took a seat next to the two, Jungkook pulling Rina closer to himself as subtly as possible. "Out." Rina pointed towards the door, her dad surrendered, taking a few steps towards the doors before stopping. "I'll tell mom!" And ran out like a kid. Rina couldn't help but sigh at her dad's childish behavior. "Ignore that, how are you? Does it hurt somewhere?" Jungkook shook his head as an answer.

"What happened?" Rina questioned, her eyes obviously wandering down to the mark on his neck. Jungkook noticed, pulling a blanket to cover it. "N-nothing." Rina's gray eyes rolled at the answer. "Yeah and you called me half dead 'cuz it's nothing. Sure." Rina nodded, sarcasm pouring out of her plump lips. "Please just tell me." She practically begged. Jungkook sighed, "just give me a moment to collect myself." Rina nodded, wrapping her arms around his while drawing soothing circles on his arm as some kind of reassurance. The boy melted in her arms, her cold skin somehow gave him a sense of comfort. It helped him recall the events without spining into a panic attack. He usually tried to forget all of it but only for Rina's sake he wanted to know what happened and tell her exactly what was going on.

After a while, Jungkook sniffled- alarming Rina. "It's okay Kook. You're safe with me. I'll never let anyone hurt you, okay?" She quickly reassured while giving hin a tight squeeze as well. "Ri-Rina, the-they tried to ki-kill me!" Jungkook tried holding back the sobs but it wasn't successful. It was different saying it out loud, to him it meant he couldn't pretend it was just a horrible dream- it was real. Rina couln't wrap her head around it, how could a parent do something like that to their own child? "Jungko-" he cut her off, "They tried to choke me.. Rin- Rina I almost died!" He desperatelly tightened his hold around her waist, his head burried into her chest as he cried. "It's okay, cry it out."

A day later

Rina and Jungkook unexpectedly dived into a deep conversation and sensitive topics. But they both wanted it to finally happen. "Sorry it it's hard for you to asnwer, you don't have to but..," Rina looked at Jungkook while trailing off, "When did it start?" She didn't even have to explain what, it was obvious. Jungkook only stretched a fake smile. "Long time ago..," He started off and Rina didn't interrupt as she felt he wanted to tell more. Which he did. "It started with this scar. That was the result of the first time they did it. Got drunk and all." He shrugged but it felt good to finally say what he wanted, to the person he wanted.

A few topics flew by before Jungkook got curious. "Where is your mom?" He questioned without much thought as he never saw her. "She died a few decades ago." Rina answered and Jungkook instantly felt bad about asking like that. "Oh! I'm-" Rina waved her hands to make him shut up. "It's fine! It was obvious that she would die eventually, humans don't live long." Jungkook was surprised. He never knew that her mom wasn't a vampire. "W-why didn't your dad turn her?" He fiddled with his fingers as he questioned, not sure how Rina would react.

"There is a big risk of dying and he didn't want to be responsible." Rina shrugged, she came to terms with it a long time ago, at first she was furious at the stupid decision but as she got older she kind of started to get why especially when Jungkook came into her life. The mentioned boy nodded, deep in thought before almost giving Rina a heart attack with his next words.

"Turn me then."

I had all of the chapters until this one written a few months ago... n i expected to be able to continue it without a problem n i have the whole storyline planned out i just need to write it... but i lost interest n idk what to do
I dont wanr to discontinue this bc i was so excited to publish it but i dont want to keep publishing something i dont care about

Ill publish the other chapter on thursday n then probably take a week or smth to try n find interest...

But i am working on a new story.. not a BTS one tho 😅.. for some time n i want to publish that as well but idk how i will manage taking care of 2 books, high school n dance practices + hanging out with friends i made (really proud of that one tbh i haVE FRIENDDSSS) so idk ill think bout all of that 😅😂
