Jay's POV
I sighed and sat down on my sleeping bag next to the wall of the tent. I struggled to hold back my tears as Amethyst held me close. "I don't and won't let him take you ever." she said. I looked at her as an idea came to my mind, I pushed it away knowing Amethyst would never agree. I kissed her forehead and pulled her unzipped sleeping bag over us. We snuggled in and she fell asleep, but I stayed away the idea still in my mind. "I should at least mention it to her" I thought "tomorrow" was my last thoughts before I fell asleep also.
~The next Morning.~
I listened as 'mom' told when he wanted me back. "In one weeks time was his latest, and earlier would be best." I nodded and poked at my breakfast, I had list my appetite once his name came into the conversation. I heard her sigh and looked up again, "my dear child what will become of you now?" she asked as she left. I tossed my plate away and left to walk on the shore of the lake. There was a hurricane in my mind complete with tornados and hail... I had gotten pretty far before turning back. As I walked back I saw 'mom' and Amethyst packing things into the trailer. I got back at the site and started helping, in less than 30 minuets everything was packed and ready, "tell me when your ready girls" 'mom' called. I nodded and went over to Amethyst's side. "I have an idea that's so great it's stupid," I said as I grasped Amethyst's hand. She looked at me weirdly, "what is it?" she asked. "Well both of us or just me leave just go away. I could get a job passing off as eighteen ,and live off that for a bit." I explained. It took a lot of convincing before she agreed to do the idea but she would join me. It was settled in a weeks time we would leave.
