Alexander's POV
After a while longer of watching YouTube I stood and turned off the tv, "I'm going to bed. I suggest you do the same." I said to Jay. She yawned and stood up, "Nah I'm going to get a shower." She said and slid past me. I smiled and went to my bedroom.

I struggled to hold up the weight of the girl, but I couldn't let her fall. I felt a connection to her in some way. She begged me to let her fall, but I wouldn't comply to her wishes. "I'm not going to let you go!" I yelled. Tears streamed down her face. My arm strained from gravity pulling her down, but I wouldn't let her go. Then I took a chance and pulled up with all my strength. I closed my eyes, and my hand suddenly felt weightless again. When I opened my eyes the girl was falling, my hand had slipped.
I woke up and could hear her screaming still.
I shook my head and realized that it wasn't the girl from my dreams screaming. I jumped out of bed and grabbed my pocket knife. I snuck out of my room and down the hall. The screams and pleading got louder. Then I stopped at Jay's door. I opened it to find her asleep ,but she seemed to be in distress. I dropped my knife and walked over to her bed.
Her eyes were closed and I slipped under the blankets with her. My arm wrapped around her waist and I whispered to her. "Shhh it's alright. Nothing is going to get you. I promise." I whispered. Soon Jay relaxed and curled up. "Dammit I though the nightmares were gone." She said. "I guess not" I replied. I closed my eyes and drifted off to sleep.
