i asked you after we
reached the rooftop of
our school .
you opened your small
lunchbag and took out
sandwiches and a small
milk carton .
" want some ? " you said
as we both sat on the floor
next to old tables and chairs .
i nodded and you smiled
as you passed me one slice .
you looked around the place
as you took your first bite ,
" are we even allowed to go
up here ? "
" no .... but the school doesn't
make tbe rules !! it's now our
territory "
" ha ha , then we should eat
quickly ! i don't want us to be
caught by anyone " you took
a sip of your milk .
" yeah ... i hope none of my
friends actually followed me
up here "
there was a short silence
and i noticed you were
hesitating to mention
something .

want to say ? " i grabbed
your hand .
