I woke up when I heard Sam talking. I crept down the stairs and he was standing in the kitchen talking to him self, and then he just left.

I was at the house alone, and I didnt know what to do. I walked back up stairs and turned on my table lamp and read a book. About 20 minutes later I heard the door open and hoped it wasnt a robber. "Sam!" I heard Dean yell. "Sam" he yelled again.

"Ava?" Dean called and I got out of my bed and walked to the stairs where he stood at the bottom and had a worried look on his face. "Wheres Sam?" He asked. "He left" I told him. "When" he demanded to know. "About 20 minutes ago. He was talking to himself and then he left" I shrugged and Dean hit the railing. "Damnit" he shook his head. "I'll be right back Ava. Stay here" he told me and walked out.

I sighed and walked down stairs. I looked out the window and saw Dean drive away. I got on my jacket and went out side. I walked around the junk yard and saw smoke coming from the house. I saw flames in the sky as high as the house. I snuck back over there and heard people talking. I hid in the back of an old car until I heard a car start up and drive away.

I didnt know what to do or where to go. I carefully got out of the car and ran to the end to the yard and tried to get as far away as possible. I sat against a car and tried to slow my breathing. "Ava!" I heard some one call after awhile. "Ava where are you!!" I heard the yell and it had gotten closer. "Bobby! Ava!" I heard the call again but I didnt move. The calls got quieter and I heard a gun go off.

I jumped up and hid behind the car. I heard a loud crash and some sirens after that. I saw the flash of the red and the blue but I stayed hidden. After the sirens went away I got in the back of the car and laid down. I was tired, and so confused. I closed my eyes and eventually fell asleep.

I woke up the next day, but didnt know what time it was. I rubbed my eyes and got out of the car. My stomach grumbled and I needed to pee. I slowly walked back to the house to see that it had been burnt to a crisp. I sighed and peed beside the house, but still couldnt find any food.

I walked around for a bit, and didn't find anyone.  I heard a car pull up and peaked around the house to see Bobby getting out of an ambulance. "Ava" he called and I ran over to him. I wrapped my arms around him and started to cry. "Your safe now kiddo. But we gotta go" he told me and I  nodded. I climbed in to the back of the ambulance and saw Sam laying there.

Dean sat in the front with Bobby and we started to drive. It was about 8 and a half hours before we got out. I looked and saw we were at a little cabin. We all got in and Bobby showed me a room and I went in and shut the door.

Three weeks later

I heard some talking in the main part of the cabin. Bobby had just gotten the Impala back and they were talking about some monster. Bobby said he needed to go collect his library and Dean made Sam go get him some grub as he called it because he still only had one working leg. Some how he had broken it, but no one told me how.

I heard the door open and close and then it was quiet for a second. I heard Dean and Bobby talking about Sam and how he was a time bomb. Bobby said he was making progress and Dean thought different. Bobby did end up leaving and I wanted a drink. I heard the tv come back on and I quietly opened my door and stepped out.

I walked past Dean who was on the couch watching tv. I opened the fridge and grabbed a soda. I turned and started to walk back. "Ava" I heard Dean call my name and I froze. "Can you uh come here for a second?" He asked and I walked over there and stood in front of him. He didnt say anything for a minute and then he looked up at me. "I'm sorry" he spoke and I was quiet.

We just stared at each other for what seemed like for ever. "This is the part where you say it's ok Dean. I forgive you for putting me in danger" he said and I nodded. "Its ok Dean i-" "no not now" he cut me off and I was quiet again. "Really I'm fine" I smiled at him. "I should have never left you there" he shook his head. "Its ok" I told him and he scratched the back of his neck.

"This is all still new to me" he told me and I nodded. "I've never had to look after anyone small since Sammy and I were young" he explained. "Dean I'm fine" I told him. "But your not" he shook his head. "Your a Winchester now, and all that is so messed up. I have no idea how to raise a kid" he rested his head on one of his hands.

"I'll help you" I said. He looked up at me and raised an eye brow. "Really?" He questioned. "Yea. We can be partners" I smiled and he nodded. "But no hunting" he pointed at me. "I know" I nodded. "Your still to young" he added and I thought about him hunting when he was eight and I was seven years older than that. "I just, dont want to lose you too" he told me.
