Jennie

Does she really not want to ask?

"Lisa," the sweat sticking to my clothes.

"You worked hard," she pats my shoulder as we made our way out for our last break after performing 4 songs in a row.

"Lisa," I called again.

It just doesn't feel right.

She should be yelling at me right now, she should be spaced out or anything that resembled she was affected by the words she had heard before.

Yet here she is, acting as if nothing happened.

"I'm famished," Rosé whined as she went down the stairs.

But as their eyes meet, both stopped and drew a sharp intake.

"Cousin, isn't this one of those scenes were they talk about the feelings unsaid and then they try hitting it off?" Jisoo whispers by my side.

Glaring at her, my jealousy overtaking me, "Not funny."

She smirks, shrugging, "Well it's funny for me," she lazily drapes her arm on my shoulder as her eyes trailed to the two standing awkwardly in front of us.

That was when realization kicked her right in her gut.

"Oh yeah, Rosé is part of that story."

"Sometimes you're stupid," I snicker.

Stepping forward, "Lisa come--"

Lisa stops me again, just like before but this time she was serious it was giving me goosebumps since Serious Lisa hardly showed up.

"Can we talk, Chaeng?" She offers a small smile to her best friend.

Okay what the hell?

Wasn't there supposed to be a priority number for the girlfriend? Like hello I'm right here.

Isn't she going to talk to me about my relation with Jisoo? Or why I kept it quiet?

The family issue is very sensitive for me but in this weird moment, I didn't care at all. Instead, I wanted Lisa's attention in the matter.

"S-sure," Rosé gave Jisoo and I nervous glances before she followed Lisa.

"The hell?" I literally said it out loud after they were gone.

The staffs flinched at my potty mouth but I don't care as I glared daggers to the two fleeting maknaes.

A folder is waved in front of me.

"Careful there Jennie, Lis and Rosé might catch on fire," Manager Oppa snaps me out of it with a stoic look.

Sneering, "I wish that was possible."

He sighs, messing his hair out in stress. Pointing at me, "You better not mess your performance later because of this."

Rolling my eyes, I didn't respond at him.

Giving up, he waves us goodbye and walks off.

Jisoo frowns, crossing her arms but remained silent despite disliking what happened.

"It was bound to happen," she simply stated, following the path of walking away.

Why is everyone suddenly walking out?

Is it the new rage nowadays?

Stomping my feet, I catch my cousin's attention. Puffing my cheeks, I showed her the bitchiest face I could muster.
