A/N: This is the last update for I Hated Her.

(8 years after)

Nowhere in this wide universe have we a fixed abode -- A party of two wanderers.

Jennie

"Are you excited?" I smile at the small girl who was enjoying the view. She nods in enthusiasm and I could only chuckle at how adorable she looks.

It's like seeing a kid version of me.

"You have now arrived in Venice, Italy, please fasten on to your seatbelts until the plane has come to a stop," the pilot instructs.

It's been so long since I can finally relax, releasing my grip on the armrest. This is my first time going here. Thank God I had a free schedule to enjoy a small vacation.

Once the plane had landed and we were free to go out, I held on to Ruby's small hand.

"Now don't let go of Mommy, okay?" I tell my daughter. She was just 3 years old but understood me just fine, nodding her head off with a grin.

Our hired driver comes to pick the two of us, he was an old man with barely any hair on his scalp. But he seemed like a kind hearted Italian man, stout with heart shaped eyes.

"Ciao," he greets politely, taking our baggage and helping us inside the car.

"Buon giorno," I responded. As he toured us around Venice, he talks to us in Korean which surprised me greatly.

It was Rosé and Jisoo who planned out our vacation so they must have taken this into account. How many drivers can actually speak a minor Asian language? I thought.

My daughter didn't care though, she had her eyes glued to the beautifully colored buildings with different shapes and sizes. I swear her eyes glittered as if she had just seen fairy tale right out of a book.

Her excitement was evident when she sat upright at the sight of the magnificent landmarks.

"I was really surprised that you could speak Korean just fine," I complimented him.

He laughs and glances at me through his rearview mirror. "Yes, I had a neighbor who taught me Korean even if it wasn't her native tongue."

"Well that's amazing, it's a difficult language to learn," I tell him honestly. Lisa popping out in my head for no apparent reason.

It has been quite a long time since she had flashed back into my head.

2 years exactly.

Shaking my head, trying to get her image out as soon as possible.

"Yes, I have had a hard time myself. You are a celebrity in Korea, right?"

Shifting from my position, I avert my gaze to Ruby who was now licking her lollipop. "Well not really, but how did you know?"

"Ah! I knew I recognized you from somewhere, my neighbor is a fan of yours."

"Really?" Embarrassed at the new found information.

"Yes. But what made you want to come here? There's a lot of nice countries to choose from," he focuses on his drive towards our hotel.

"Wouldn't Italy be a nice place to live in? We could go on walks into those beautiful pathways, buy bread in the nearby store and watch the kids run around outside. Peaceful and brimming with color," she breathes out, her eyes lost in the dream.

"Yes, that would be nice," the words escaped from my mouth, enchanted at how she speaks of the future just like that.

We near the hotel, then he slowly parks the car at front, opening the door for us and calls the bellboy to carry our luggage inside our room.
