A/N: Sorry for the late update, I honestly was just lazy.
Lisa
"Lisa."
"Hey, Lisa."
"Lisa!"
Bouncing off of my chair as a clap snapped me again.
"What is it?" I asked, quite dazed.
"You're going right? You have to go!" Chaeng pleaded as her eyes sparkled in excitement.
Unsure, I nodded slowly.
"She doesn't remember it," Jisoo crossed her arms, eyeing me squarely.
What should I remember?
"O-of course I did," I faked and smiled at Chaeng.
"Then what's today?" Jisoo squints, never getting off my back.
It takes me a few seconds as I blink my eyes at them; trying my best to recall any significant event.
Chaeng's smile falters, "You seriously don't remember."
"I told you so," Jisoo shared a smug look.
Taking out my phone, "Is it your birthday?" I asked one of them as I opened the calendar to see any booked dates for the month.
"I was sure it wasn't any of--" Halting as my eyes opened wide.
"It's Joy's birthday party today. Are you coming or not?" Jisoo completed my thought process.
"Well it's not exactly her birthday, she'll be doing it in advance since they have some schedule later on," Chaeng explained further.
Palming my face, "I have plans with Bobby and the others today."
"Well then cancel it," Jisoo simply responded my problem, "We cancelled ours and so will you."
"Come on Lisa, this will be fun," Chaeng pulled my hand and shows me the famous pout that Jisoo can't seem to ignore.
"The more you keep hanging out with those boys, the more you'll turn into a uhm," Chaeng furrows her brows and thinks of the right word to call them.
"Dirty apes?" I chuckle.
"No!" Chaeng flushes, horrified at the insult.
"Definitely dirty apes," Jisoo mirrored my own laughter.
"Well get ready though, we'll be going around 6," the eldest informed us, reading a message from her phone while she was at it.
"Is something wrong?" Chaeng reads the trouble in Jisoo's face.
How do they do that? To have that unspoken connection with each other that never dwindles through time, instead it grows and flourishes so beautifully.
How can anyone hate them for loving each other?
I'm sure everyone will love them still when they announce their relationship.
So long they've hidden it from the world.
I wonder if I'm still there to see them brave their way out of society -- to be free.
But what would ever happen to me?
Jisoo meets my gaze and for a moment I sensed the hesitation from her lips as she battled it before answering her own girlfriend.
Is it about Jennie?
"Ah yeah, I just have to go and see Jennie for the grocery list. Want to join?" She directs it to me.
