Stepping into her apartment, Megan slipped off her shoes by the door and sighed on relief as she heard her Braxton Puggle puppy, Lou, coming to greet her; she smiled as she brushed some hair from her face relieved to be home.

“Hola,” Megan cooed as she picked him up, moved into the living room of her apartment; Lou licked Megan’s face in excitement, he had been sleeping when she had come home from the match.

Sitting down, Megan watched as the sun started to set making her sigh; she knew it wouldn’t be long now until Sergio arrived and she was glad it wouldn’t be a long wait.

“Time for dinner?” Megan cooed setting Lou down on the floor and watched as the puppy ran excitedly into the kitchen before he stopped to see if she was coming with him.

Laughing lightly, Megan stood and made her way into the kitchen where she picked up Lou’s bowl and started to make his dinner of puppy food.

Setting the bowl down, Megan watched as Lou waited for her to move away before he bounded towards the bowl and sticking his head in it.

A sudden knocking at the door, made Megan smile as she looked at it for a second; taking a deep breath, she made her way towards it and pulled open the door to see Sergio standing there.

“Hola…” Sergio said giving Megan a smile, she smiled in return as he stepped into her apartment; only when the door was closed then did he pull Megan into a kiss.

A yap from Lou pulled the couple apart; Megan rolled her eyes at her boyfriend as he picked up the puppy and started cooing at him, he had always had a soft spot for dogs and Megan had joked once that he loved Lou more than her.

“Papa’s back,” Sergio cooed making Megan rolled her eyes as he turned and grinned at her, he loved the puppy and it had been a gift for her on her last birthday.

“What?” Sergio sked innocently setting Lou down on the floor again, the puppy looked at Megan and wagged his tail before he ran back into the kitchen to finish his dinner, leaving the couple alone.

Running a tired hand through his shoulder-length brown hair, Sergio offered her a smile; he was glad that she had wanted to see him, Megan meant a lot to him and the last six years had been amazing.

“You okay?” Megan asked softly as she wrapped her arms around his waist, she cuddled close as she wondered how she had gotten so lucky; it had only been by chance that she had met him six years ago.

Nodding Sergio held her close to him before he rested his head on hers and closed his eyes for a moment; she was everything that he had ever wanted.

“Better now that I’m with you,” Sergio breathed making Megan smile, though she didn’t really believe him; it had been a tough match and he was glad that he could now relax.

Taking a deep breath Sergio pulled her gently into the living room, settled on the couch; Megan sighed as she felt him hold her closer.

“Did you eat?” Sergio asked making Megan nod as he flicked the television on, his arms holding her close as she tried to ease her worries; she felt uneasy and she didn’t know why.

“Before I went the match,” Megan said making him nod tiredly as he leant back against her couch, it was rare that they had any time like this together and she wished that they had more time together.

Biting her lip Megan watched him for a second before she cuddled up close to him in comfort; she knew how he felt about the match but there was clearly something else on his mind right now.

It had been too long since they’d been able to relax and the worry of them being caught lay heavily on them.

“I’m fine amor,” Sergio said trying to reassure Megan, but even he knew it was a lie and it wasn’t just about the match; he felt bad and he hated that he had forced this on Megan; he loved her more than anything.

Megan brushed his hair away from his face, so she could see his brown eyes; she stared up at him wishing that he wouldn’t keep things bottled up, it was the reason he had so many red cards.

“You can tell me anything,” Megan said softly making Sergio nod before he pressed a kiss to her lips, she loved him and they had never had any secrets between them.

Resting his head against Megan’s, Sergio closed his eyes he knew he’d have to tell her sooner or later and he wished that he had been more careful with their meeting.

“Nistelrooy saw us…” Sergio said making Megan stiffen as he spoke, she pulled away from Sergio and looked at him shocked, as he moved to brush so hair from her face.

“He confronted me in the locker room… told him, I didn’t know what he was talking about; but the guys are suspicious,” Sergio said making Megan sigh and nod, she nibbled on her lip as she tried to think about what they were going to do about this.

Lou picked that moment to jump up onto his lap, making the couple sigh and look at the puppy that wagged his tail innocently at them before he yawned and started to settle on Sergio’s lap.

Looking back at her boyfriend, Megan could sense his distress and she wished that there was some way that she could ease his worried; they both had reason’s for hiding their relationship.

“I don’t want anyone knowing yet… I can’t protect you if the press find out,” Sergio said making Megan nod; this had been as much his idea as it was hers.

Sergio had seen how the press treated his ex’s and the other WAGs of the team, and the thought of them doing that to Megan, it made him feel sick.

Then there were the fans to think about, the WAGs often had abuse thrown at them and threats sent to them; it was the reason most ended up giving up their day jobs so they didn’t have to worry about being attacked in work.

Megan watched as Sergio picked Lou up before moving to settle the sleepy puppy into his dog-bed; she smiled softly wondering how she had gotten so lucky.

“How’s Odi?” Megan asked referring to his Yorkie making him smile as he plopped Lou into his bed; she adored the tiny dog and she was sure that he was home alone right now.

“He’s good… his leg’s getting better,” Sergio said offered his hand to Megan as he helped her to stand; he gently pulled her towards the bedroom knowing how he wanted to spend the night with her.

Shutting the bedroom door quietly, Sergio slowly kissed Megan the last few weeks had been a nightmare and he wished that he could have her with him all the time.

“Can’t you keep it in your pants, Sese?” Megan teased making Sergio chuckle pulling her back to him; he kissed her neck softly as he slowly started to removed her top.

Megan smiled as she helped him out of his own, it had been so long and she had missed having Sergio in her bed.

"I missed you,” Sergio said making Megan wrap her arms around his neck, her trip to Milan had been a long one and he was glad to have her home.

“I missed you too… Oise was no fun without you,” Megan said making him smile at her words, he had missed her more every time she had to leave. Megan pressed her lips to Sergio’s, she knew that once he got started there was no stopping his self-boasting.

Slowly moving back to Megan’s bed, the couple soon became moulded together; their whimpers and moans sounding through the night.

They would deal with Nistelrooy, when the time came for it; but right now they only needed each other whatever else could come later.
