Chapter Twenty-Six: Sergio's Surprise

Iker raised an eyebrow at Sergio, he knew that his best friend loved Megan but he wouldn't have expected him to do this; they were engaged and he had hoped that he would be thinking about the twins.

"What do you think?" Sergio asked gently running a finger over the still tender skin, he'd had it done the day before and had managed to keep Megan from seeing it.

Iker nodded as he looked at the tattoo that Sergio had shown him, he was a little surprised and he knew that Sergio would only have more done when the twins had been born.

"It's pretty... you sure about this?" Iker asked making Sergio nod his head, he couldn't contain the eye roll that he made at Iker's words; it was a little late to be asking him that now that he'd had it done.

"A little late to ask that Iker... do you think she'll like it?" Sergio asked looking down at the flesh again; he'd had the idea a week ago when Megan had her twenty-seven week scan; the brunette's stomach was swelling beautifully with his children inside of it.

"I'm sure she'll love it..." Iker said making Sergio grin, he was being stupid but Megan meant a lot to him plus their sixth anniversary was fast approaching.

Sergio finished getting changed, they had just finished training and were getting ready to head home; it was nearly the end of October and things were going well for the couple.

"How is Megan?" Iker asked curiously, he knew that Megan was preparing for the birth of their twins in January; she was getting nervous about the birth.

Sergio sighed pulling on his top, he smiled at his friend knowing that everyone was excited about the birth of his twins and his wedding.

"A little stressed out..." Sergio admitted making Iker nod, it was understandable that she was stressed out a bit; they dressed quietly until Xabi approaches them.

"So will Megan be coming to the home match on the 26th?" Xabi asked curiously, they hadn't seen Megan since she had returned from the unwed mother's home; she'd had so busy since she had gotten engaged.

Sergio nodded his head, Karl and Rory had begged Megan and Lily to come to the next match with them and he couldn't have been happier that they would be there.

Sergio shifted knowing that he had to go home and finish packing, he had an away game tomorrow; they were playing Málaga and Mourinho was putting on the pressure for them to win.

Megan raised an eyebrow at her fiancé when he returned home, she knew he was keeping something from her and had been since the start of that week; she closed her book and shifted to get more comfortable.

"Hola, how was training?" Megan greeted rubbing her stomach; Sergio's family had headed back to Seville meaning that the couple were alone, Megan spent most of her time planning the couple's wedding and preparing for the twins birth.

The two had already decided that they would get married after the Euros on the 20th of July, it would give them enough time between international duty and pre-season to get married and have a honeymoon.

"It was fine amor... Mourinho was tough," Sergio said making Megan nod as he sat down next to her, pressing a kiss to her lips and smiled at her; he couldn't believe how lucky he was to have her in his life.

"I have a surprise for you," Sergio told her, Megan looked at him curious about what he had planned; Sergio chuckled before he kissed her lips, nervous about whether or not she would like it.

"Does it have something to do with your secretive behaviour?" Megan asked making him look at her, the brunette stared at him making Sergio roll his eyes and nod his head.

Sergio shifted for a moment while Megan watched him curiously, he slowly unbuttoned his shirt to show her what he'd had done; he wasn't sure how she would react when she saw the tattoo.

"Nena... I've seen you naked, it's not much of a surprise," Megan teased making Sergio laugh and shake his head, he continued knowing that she hadn't said it to be mean, she was just stating facts and he slowly slipped off his shirt.

Megan looked at her fiancé confused before she spotted something on his lower stomach; Sergio watched her carefully as she gently traced the tattoo with her finger, the tattoo was an eagle with a letter M.

Megan stared at him speechless, she could see that it was new as the skin was still a little red showing that it was brand new; she couldn't believe that he had done this for her.

"Do you like it amor?" Sergio asked, he didn't know what he thought about her speechlessness; he worried that she wouldn't like it and if she didn't then there could be problems for them because it was permanent.

Megan nodded as she continued to look at the tattoo, Sergio looked at her before she pulled him in to a kiss; Megan held him close as they kissed, she couldn't believe he had done this for her.

As they pulled apart Sergio ran his hands through her hair, she rested her head against his; she wasn't sure what to say about the tattoo that he now had.

"Why?" Megan asked still slightly shocked that he had done this, Sergio kissed her lips as he moved to rub her swollen stomach; he was relieved that she liked the tattoo.

"I wanted to have something permanent of you with me all the time..." Sergio said shrugging his shoulders while he watched her; Megan meant so much to him and he couldn't see his life without her.

Megan stared at him for a moment before she kissed him, he had tattoos for his siblings and parents but she never thought he would get one for her.

"Gracias," Megan said pulling apart, Sergio nodded as he kissed her; he was happy that she had taken it so well; his parents weren't impressed with his collection of tattoos since he had so many of them.

However the two stopped kissing and looked down at Megan's stomach, they stared for a moment before they felt it again; Megan smiled knowing that Sergio had never felt it before.

"Was that?" Sergio asked making Megan nod, he pressed another kiss to her lips as he rubbed her stomach; he hadn't experienced their twins kicking before and it amazed him now that he had.

"That's our baby..." Sergio murmured making Megan nod, she could tell he was excited to experience this; she didn't know what she would have done if it would have happened while he was away.

"I love you... and thank you for the tattoo," Megan said quietly, Sergio nodded as he stared at her stomach, he couldn't wait to be a father and husband; it was something that he had dreamed of since he was a teenager.

Sergio wanted this with Megan, she was the woman that he wanted to spend the rest of his life with; he loved her and was already planning something big for their sixth anniversary.

"I love you too," Sergio said softly as he moved to kiss her softly wondering what the future would hold for them; he hoped that things were going to go well for them from now on.

Megan smiled at him, everything was going so perfectly for them and she hoped that things would continue on like that; Sergio was going to be the perfect father to their twins.
