Gerard hesitantly knocked on the hospital door before poking his head inside, he smiled at the sight before him; he couldn’t believe how much had changed since he had tried to kill himself.
Megan smiled at her father while she adjusted her hold on Lorelei, she was surprised at the little tuft of hair that sat on top of the newborn’s head; it was dark like Sergio’s and stuck up in different directions.
“Hola,” Gerard said carefully, he peeked around realising that Sergio wasn’t in the room; he was a little nervous about the Sevillian and he had a feeling that it would take time for the two to get used to one another.
“Sergio not around?” Gerard asked not wanting to get in the way of the footballer, he didn’t want any trouble and he had just come to see his grandchildren and daughter.
Megan nodded her head, she wished that things could have been better between her father and fiancé but she wasn’t going to push it.
“He popped out to call his parents,” Megan said looking down at Lorelei who was asleep in her arms, she had rested after the birth and she was glad for the nap.
Gerard nodded his head, he carefully walked over to the bed hoping that things would be okay; they might have improved after he had tried to kill himself but things were still awkward.
“What did you call them?” Gerard asked curiously, he looked down at Lorelei who was sleeping in her mother’s arms before he moved to look at Lucas; they were beautiful and only made him feel worse for what he had tried to do for it.
Megan smiled up at her father, she was glad that they were able to be like this again; it would just take time to fix all of the damage that he had caused.
“Lorelei and Lucas,” Megan said proudly, she liked the names that she had chosen and she didn’t think that she could have picked better names for the twins; they suited them perfectly.

“How are you feeling?” Sergio asked sitting down next to Megan, he smiled watching her feed Lucas and he was glad that everyone had been to see the twins had gone home.
It had been a few hours since the twins had been born and the family had been visited numerous times by friends and family who all wanted to see Lorelei and Lucas.
“Tired, but good,” Megan replied with a smile, she wasn’t sure what would happen when they got the twins home but she was looking forward to getting out of the hospital.
Sergio smiled moving to pick Lorelei up as his daughter got fussy, he was still in awe that he had helped create something so perfect and beautiful.
“I can’t wait to take them home,” Sergio whispered, he hadn’t wanted to leave Megan alone with the twins in hospital and they wouldn’t be able to leave until the next day.
Megan nodded her head, she looked at Sergio wondering if things would be okay when they went home; it was going to be a lot of hard work raising twins and they had a wedding to plan.
“Do you think we’ll manage?” Megan asked watching Sergio with Lorelei, she didn’t think that she would ever get used to see him with one of the twins; everything seemed so wonderful now that the twins had been born.
“Of course we will… we’re us,” Sergio said grinning, he didn’t think that anything could be better than having his family around him right now; they would be perfectly fine and he was sure of that.
THE END.
