It was to no surprise to Megan that her father demanded that she come straight home when she finally answered the phone; she wasn’t even surprised to find her four brothers waiting at home for her with her father.

Marcus and Adam glared at Megan as she stepped into the house with Sergio, they were furious that she had broken their father’s golden rule and that she was dating a Real Madrid footballer.

Karl and Rory smiled weakly at their sister, they knew that Megan was in a lot of trouble and this wasn’t going to be pretty.

Sergio swallowed nervously as Gerard turned around to glare at him, he sat down next to Megan fearing what her father might say to them; he hoped that Gerard would understand.

“Give us a minute,” Gerard said looking at his sons, he knew they were eager to see what would happen; the four men pouted but didn’t argue, they knew he wasn’t happy.

Sergio took Megan’s hand to comfort her as her brothers left; this wasn’t going to end well when they told him she was having his baby and that they had been together for six years.

“What the hell were you thinking?” Gerard snapped staring Megan making Sergio flinched at his words; Megan had warned him about this and he knew he shouldn’t expect anything less.

Megan stared at her father, she didn’t know what to say to him especially when he was in a mood like this; he wouldn’t listen to what she had to say.

“I told you… don’t date a footballer whatever you do,” Gerard said furious that Megan had ignored him, she was dating Sergio and he was sure that Sergio was only going to break her heart.

Megan sat quietly she knew what this was about, her father may have been a footballer but he didn't trusted them and never would; she hoped he would calm down and let her explain what was going on.

“But do you listen… no… you go and find yourself a bloody womanizing footballer,” Gerard snarled ignoring the look that Sergio shot him in warning; of all things he could have accuse him of, Gerard had picked on something he had done when he was younger.

“I would never hurt Megan… I’ve been loyal to her since day one,” Sergio said making Gerard glare at him for answering back to him; he wanted to defend himself and stop Gerard from lashing out.

Megan looked at her father, she knew he was disappointed but it was going to get worse when she revealed that they were going to have a baby.

“Padre… I love Sergio,” Megan said smiling as she looked at her boyfriend, she wanted her father to understand that she was happy and that should be enough for him.

Gerard looked at his daughter like she had lost her mind, but with one look at the footballer; he could sense that there was something else.

“I love your daughter… and I would do anything for her,” Sergio said trying to help Megan, she kissed him knowing that this wasn’t going to change anything; they were happy and they wanted people to understand that.

Gerard looked between them wondering what the hell was going on, he didn’t believe any of this and he wondered what Sergio had over his daughter; Megan was a smart woman and could do so much better.

Megan peeked at Sergio, she wanted to tell her father that she was pregnant and while he was quiet she was sure now was the perfect time to do so.

“The thing is padre… we’re having a baby,” Megan said smiling, she looked at Sergio who smiled back at her; they hadn’t told anyone else and they were so happy right now and she hoped it would calm her father down.

Gerard stared at his daughter, he blinked as the news slowly started to settle in; he couldn’t believe that Megan was having a baby with the footballer, he didn’t want to believe it.

Megan wondered if he’d heard her when he stood still looking between them; Sergio swallowed as Gerard stood there looking at them, he knew that something was about to happen.

“You’re pregnant?” Gerard said praying that she was trying to joke with him, the entire house was silent as Sergio drew Megan closer; he was nervous and he knew that this wasn’t going to end well.

Sergio looked at Gerard, he had hoped the man would be thrilled with the idea of having a grandchild but that clearly wasn’t happening.

“You this is your fault… she’s only twenty-three,” Gerard snarled launching himself at Sergio to throttle the man that had impregnated his daughter.

Megan was quickly pulled out of the way by one of her brothers, she struggled against Marcus as Gerard pinned Sergio against the wall; this was quickly getting out of hand.

“She’s still only a child herself… this is why she shouldn’t date footballers; anything with a pair of legs they manage to knock up,” Gerard yelled furiously, he didn’t care who heard what was going on; he wanted Sergio gone and he was never going to let him see Megan again.

Gerard started to hall Sergio towards the front door to chuck him out, he would take care of everything and Megan would one day thank him for what he was doing for her.

Megan struggled in her brother’s grip as her father ripped open the door and started to throw Sergio out, who hadn’t put up a fight since he knew that it wouldn’t help the situation.

“Don’t you dare come near her ever again,” Gerard shouted before he slammed the door closed in fury, he couldn't believe that this was happening; his own daughter, he took a deep breath before he turned around.

Megan stared at her father shocked that he had just done that, she pushed Marcus off her and glared at him; she couldn’t believe that no one had tried to stop him, she was shocked that he had reacted like that.

“We’ll fix this,” Gerard said heading for the phone in the kitchen, he knew that they had somewhere where Megan could get the help that she needed; they would make this right and Megan would find a better husband one day.

Megan followed after her father, she didn’t like what he was saying; it frightened her a little as if there was something that was wrong.

“I love Sergio and I want this baby,” Megan said as her brother quickly got out of the way, no one wanted to argue with her and their father; someone was going to get hurt and they all knew who was going to be the one.

Gerard sighed shaking his head, he looked back at Megan knowing that she would one day thank him for what he was about to do.

“I’m old enough to make my own mistakes… and live my own life,” Megan said trying to talk her father out of whatever he was planning, she was happy and he knew that he was doing this for her own good.

Megan looked at him, she rested a hand against her stomach it was the look in his eyes that truly scared Megan.

Gerard knew what he was about to do would probably cost him his daughter, but he couldn’t let her do this; she had a life and he wasn’t going to let her ruin it.

“You deserve better,” Gerard said simply before he moved to call a friend who could give him the number of the place that he wanted; Megan stared at him, she shook her head and walked away.

Megan hoped that by giving him time to think that he would change his mind, she didn’t know why her father was so against this; she just hoped that he wouldn’t do something that would make her hate him.
