Beth's POV~~~
"Why hasn't he came yet? Is he waiting for an invitation or something?"
"We don't know, Ally. Malin's unpredictable. He's probably making a plan or just taking his time as a way to taunt us."
"Yeah? Well I'd like to meet this dude and personally beat the crap out of him."
I scoffed,"Oh sure. If you want him to turn you into voltar food."
"Or a pile of ashes," Megan chimed in.
"So what's our plan again?" Ally asked.
I sighed. "Guys, since Ally has the attention span of a goldfish, would you care to explain to her- for the third time- what we plan on doing?"
"There is nothing wrong with being a goldfish," Ally huffed.
"In the next few days, Malin's going to come to the mainland," Logan began. "When he does, he's going to try to kill me, once and for all. He'll be distracted with me, I'll make sure of it. And that's when all of you will go to Dark Forest Island and get Dawn, but just make sure to avoid all of the creatures along the way. Two of you will keep watch, hidden in the shoreline incase someone comes. The other three will go deeper into the island, searching for Malin's castle or Dawn if she is not inside. Beware of Malin's helpers and be prepared to fight them if is necessary. When you have Dawn, go somewhere safe, like an outer part of the forest or even the nameless island. Once you are all safe, signal me by shooting a shadow ball into the air. If you guys are in danger or did not succeed, shoot out a fire ball."
"And that's the last time that we're repeating the plan," Asher laughed, causing Jacob to snicker. Then Asher turned serious, "But Logan, you can't fight off Malin on your own. You're tired out, and he's grown stronger. At least two us need to stay here and help you."
Logan shook his head. "Malin will kill any one of you that comes into his way. It's not worth it. You're all better off going to get Dawn together."
"Waaaait..." Ally said frowning. "When we went to Dark Forest Island, I didn't see any castle..." I cringed and inwardly sighed. No one knows that we went there, Ally! It was suppose to stay a secret! Megan shifted her weight, also feeling uneasy.
Logan's eyes narrowed. "When were you there?" He asked slowly, then asked more urgently. "Why we're you there?!"
"C-Calm down," Megan said quickly, raising her hands.
Logan took a step forward. "Are you-"
"We're not working with Malin, if that's what you were thinking." I said smoothly, cutting him off. "When you took Dawn, as if you owned her or something, we went out to look for her. I'm not sure how it works in SkyFall, but that's what us Humans do when a loved one is missing. But never would I have thought that you, the "high and mighty" Creator, would be the cause of all my problems," I sneered.
"You already had plenty of problems before coming here. Incase you've forgotten, SkyFall is the reason why you're alive, since your world literally collapsed. I didn't allow you to stay on the mainland for you to argue with me, I did so because I thought you'd be helpful. Now, if you'd be so kind to shut your mouth, we have important-" he stopped short, looking around. We all tensed, not knowing what was going on. "Malin's not in his island anymore, I can feel it."
"Then... Do we start the plan?" Jacob asked.
"Not until Malin is within my reach," Logan answered. "I'm going to search for him. When you see or hear us fighting, that'll be your cue to go." In the blink of an eye, Logan was gone.
