RUBY
Oh my gosh, can I be anymore embarrassing and pathetic? I can't believe I had just bumped into Lecter's brother aka the Alpha King and pissed him off it looks like. Then to make matters worse, I made him even more furious after coming into his bedroom as I was finishing up making his bed.
When he accused me of looking at his book, which obviously I didn't, I realized that whatever was inside that book was very important to him. I'm sure that Lecter had looked through it. Doesn't matter though, it's always the servants fault no matter what.
After finishing the rest of my duties, I retired into my bedroom at the end of the long hallway on the first floor and took a shower before going to bed.
A few days passed by and I've been trying to stay clear of Alpha Boulder just as I have always tried with Lecter.
I couldn't wait for tonight because it was my best friends birthday and I was meeting up with her and my other friends to celebrate at the Tavern in town that only humans can go and werewolves are not allowed to trespass onto due to a treaty alliance that was made centuries ago.
While finishing up cleaning in the living room, I was heading upstairs to begin making everyone's beds and cleaning their rooms when I stop after hearing an all too familiar and disgusting giggle coming from Marie, the pack human slut walking out of Lecter's room.
I've learned to just look the other way and ignore it since it's none of my business anyways. Even though it mostly annoys me that she gets to not work cause she gives him whatever he wants and whenever. But it's whatever right?
I was in the laundry room folding some clothes before putting them away when I see out the corner of my eye, the pile I already had folded being forcefully pushed off and then someone turning me around roughly by the arm. I was terrified when I saw it was Lecter.
"What the hell do you think you're doing?!" He yells.
"The laundry." I reply.
"I can see that! I'm not an idiot! I meant what the hell is this I hear about you touching my brothers book!" He angrily says.
"I-I didn't touch it." Damnit I hate when I stutter, makes me sound weak.
"Don't you fucking lie to me!" He says before shoving me hard back against the wall while still gripping onto my arms making me wince in pain.
"Please don't." I start to beg.
"Don't what, touch you?" He asks as he leans in a little closer to me and forces my legs apart with his knee while moving his hand down from my arm and up my skirt.
"Stop." I protest and he just covers my mouth yelling at me to shut up.
Luckily, we get interrupted by the whistling we hear from Kathleen that sounds like it's coming closer to the laundry room.
"Shh. Don't you dare fucking say anything about this to anyone!" He warns me.
"I won't." I vigorously nod my head in agreement.
He then takes a few steps back and looks me up and down before turning to leave.
"Not that anyone would believe you anyways. I mean, look at you." He says.
I try going over in my head what just happened as I still don't believe it. He has never tried any advances like that before with me. I think I prefer the whippings and beatings along with the name calling than to have him talk to me and touch me in that way ever again.
"You alright?" I hear Kathleen ask me while walking up beside me with a basket of some dirty sheets.
"Yeah." I nod as I try to straighten myself up a little bit.
"You sure?" She asks.
"Yeah. I'm fine." I assure her.
"Okay. Well, why don't you go and rest a little bit before you leave tonight, i'll finish up here for you." She smiles.
"Thanks." I reply with a smile and start leaving to my room.
~A few hours later~
I'm so grateful for Kathleen. I feel well rested, start getting ready and then sneak out the window after hearing Kathleen assuring me the coast was clear.
I'm glad I'm on the first floor because otherwise, it would be a lot trickier to try and sneak out of here-I don't do it all the time.
I quickly start running through the woods and finally get to the meeting spot for me and all my friends.
To be honest, there's something liberating about crossing over on 'human' territory. I do feel safe when I'm over here and wish that I didn't have to sneak out to come here but luckily this is also right between the two territories, this tavern we meet up at, is actually pretty peaceful and not many humans go here, it's mostly a secret place for us humans that are servants.
"Hey girl." I hug my best friend Sadie.
"Hey doll! Glad you showed up, I was getting worried." She smiles.
"I know. It's not easy sneaking out of that place. Luckily you guys have nicer owners that aren't strict." I remind them.
"Yeah well, I'm sure that having eye candy to look at all day since Boulder returned helps things." She says with a smirk and while moving her eyebrows up and down.
"No, trust me, he's just as much of a jerk as his brother Lecter." I assure her.
"Good." Our friend, Leon who has had a crush on me for a while now chimes in.
I just look at him and smile before we hug and all start heading into the Tavern. Tonight, I'm not even going to be thinking about him, I'm going to make sure that I have some fun so I can feel somewhat normal.
Next chapter will be posted soon! :)
