CHAPTER 9: Me? The Alpha's Servant?!?

The sun's brightness seeping through my curtains and aiming right on my eyes is what woke me up. I feel refreshed and more rested than I have in years.

While slowly opening my eyes, I start to sit up in bed and begin stretching my arms in the air when I realize that this bed isn't mine. I don't have those curtains in my room. Oh my god, I'm in the Alpha's room. How the hell did I get here and whose clothes are these? I ask myself as I tug at the long shirt I'm wearing.

I quickly look around and find a pair of my clothes, clean and start putting them on before trying to sneak out. Which I fear I'll run into Lecter or Danny and be punished. Although then again, what was I doing in Boulder's room? Did he get me dressed? Did he....did he do something to me?

I quickly snap out of my thoughts as soon as I hear Mike, Kathleen and Boulder downstairs all laughing?

I start making my way downstairs slowly still not sure as to if I'm dreaming or not..... Something's different.

"Good morning." Kathleen smiles at me.

Mike turns his head and looks at me as does Boulder as he looks up from his plate of food and wipes his mouth before standing and walking over towards me with a big smile.

"Good morning beautiful." He grins before leaning in and kissing me.

Wait, this can't be real. What's going on? Where is everybody else? Shouldn't Lecter be yelling at me and Danny right behind him hurting me? This has to be a trick.

Then I wake up to the sounds of loud noises and yelling along with some growling coming from downstairs as I sit up in bed and am quickly relieved to know it was all a dream. That is until I hear Kathleen screaming and Mike chanting something. So I quickly make my way out of the room and run down the stairs where I see both Boulder and Lecter fighting each other rough.

Boulder is throwing most of the punches at him while I begin wondering why they're fighting. Then I get the answer.

"This is all your fault, you fucking bitch!" Marie spits at me.

"What the hell is your problem? I didn't do anything." I snap back at her.

Kathleen see's me and quickly walks up towards me with a big smile and tears starting to fill her eyes as she hugs me tightly.

"Thank god you're okay." I hear her tell me.

"I'm fine but, what's going on?" I ask.

"Something that needed to be done a long time ago." She says with half a smile before looking over at Mike.

"What do you mean?" I ask confused.

I quickly turn my head and look at a badly beaten Lecter who looks almost unrecognizable, in which, good. Not to mention Danny's lying on the floor passed out or should I say was knocked out as I can see the blood coming out from his mouth.

I then look over at Boulder and notice him squeezing his brother's throat tightly.

"If you or any one from your pack ever steps foot on this property again, I swear on our parents grave that I will kill you and have your entire pack thrown in confinement for all eternity. Not to mention if you ever touch my mate again I will not just kill you, I will have both you and your pack all on your knees BEGGING for death. Do I make myself clear?!" He tells Lecter through clenched teeth.

Lecter seems to be almost on the break of passing out himself just before Boulder finally releases him and has him drop to the ground, gasping for air.

Boulder turns and see's me while still looking upset and has blood coming from his knuckles, his shirt half torn and some blood coming from his lip.

Lecter is helped up by Jai and a few others from Boulder's pack and they begin escorting him and Danny out along with Marie who I now no longer have to see or hear from again. Thank goodness.

I feel horrible though that he was fighting over me. Sure he is the Alpha King and technically can do whatever he wants but what would people think? I'm a human, not to mention his servant. Besides, it's not like I'm Cinderella and he's the prince that rescues me.

I swallow a big lump in my throat before nervously and cautiously start walking towards Boulder but am quickly stopped by Kathleen as soon as he turns and starts to run out the back and into the woods.

"Not yet sweetie. Let him cool off." She tells me.

"This isn't good." I tell her.

"What do you mean?" She asks.

"I've caused so much trouble for everyone that despite how disgustingly vulgar and asshole of a brother Lecter is, I still feel guilty. They're gonna talk and then it'll get out that the Alpha King who is supposed to be heartless and scary and mean as well as ruthless, how he defended his servant that happens to be his mate also." I blurt out and quickly cover my mouth with my hands.

"What?" Kathleen smiles as does Mike as he walks up to the both of us and puts his arm around her shoulders.

"I found it out not too long ago and I know it's not real and after what just happened, I know that he could lose everything just by that."

"So what are you saying?" She asks.

"I need to leave. Before he comes back. I can't stay cause what if Lecter comes back or Danny or..." I started rambling.

"Then we'll take care of it. But for now, just enjoy the rest." Kathleen smiles at me.

Maybe she's right and I need to just continue to rest and then tomorrow start anew. I really hope though that no one finds out about him and I as mates or that he just defended me, it'll be bad for not just him, but my consequences I fear will be worse. Although, I guess I really am over thinking things with the fact that he doesn't even like me at all.
