EPILOGUE: 2 Years Later

More has happened in these last two years that has happened in my entire life.

Not that I would change anything that happened because I probably would have never gotten the chance to meet Ruby and despite the fact that my brother was an asshole and deserved to serve the rest of his life in confinement, I feel a little bad that he died.

I mostly feel bad because of the promise I had made our parents years ago that no matter what, I couldn't give up on him. However, through the years, I know they would have thought differently if they had seen what he really turned out to be.

Now, Ruby and I though, can relax a little more and to make things better, she asked if her best friend and her fiance could move into the castle with us and that's just what they did a month after everything happened.

It's been hard being the Alpha King and soon-to-be in charge of the council at the same time, learning the ropes. Each one has it's own responsibilities that aren't necessarily like the other. But luckily I have had Ruby to help me.

We got married almost a year ago and then during the honeymoon, found out she was pregnant. We had a little girl and named her Jai.

Jai was given a royal kind of a funeral and burial and there's not a day that goes by when we don't think of him.

Everything I ever wanted but had thought would never happen to me, happened. What can I say, fate has a way of slipping into your life and having you see that you deserve amazing things. I love my life and can't wait to see what the future brings for the both of us.

RUBY

Never thought I would see the day when I'd get married and have a family with someone that I loved and who loved me just as much, let alone it being a wolf and an Alpha King at that. But I did and I am grateful everyday that I have what I have.

It's been almost two years now since I was turned into a wolf, we had almost a war, I got married and had a beautiful daughter with him.

I've gotten much stronger and finally got in touch with my inner wolf that developed after Lester died and you definitely can't tell I was once a human turned into a wolf.

The day I'm more worried and excited about at the same time is when our daughter shifts for the first time. I know that Boulder can't wait to have her first run with her and train her.

The part that I'm worried about is I know because of the mother in me.

For now though, I'm going to enjoy every moment I have with both my husband and daughter and who knows, maybe we will have kids in the near future.
