Em wakes up the next morning with a smile on her face. She goes to the bathroom and brushes her teeth before heading to the kitchen, where she sees Kiley making coffee.

"Morning girl," she smiles.

"Morning hun," Kiley smiles back.

"So what time are we heading to the Garden?" Em asks.

"Well the game starts at 7 and the players have to be there by 5. I think we're gonna get there earlier than that though. Charlie wants to give you a big tour of the place, " Kiley informs her.

"So we're gonna leave at like 2:30?" Em asks.

"Yeah, we're gonna leave around then. The boys are heading off to morning skate soon. Normally, I would be going off to skate for an hour, coming back to have lunch, and then taking my nap," Charlie says, emerging from the hallway.

"Well I'd love to stay and chat, but I gotta go to class," Kiles says, pouring coffee into her hydroflask.

She grabs her purse, her bookbag, her keys and her hydroflask.

"By Em. Bye babe," she says, hugging Em and kissing Charlie before leaving the apartment.

"So, what you want for breakfast?" Em asks, as she opens the fridge.

"Your mom's famous omelette," Charlie asks, referring to her mother's famous Dominican-style omelette that was passed down by her grandmother.

"Ah, the Torres' reboltido it is," she replies, referring to her mother's maiden name.

She grabs a skillet, eggs from the fridge, as well as various vegetables. Charlie helps her chop up the vegetables as the skillet heats up. They then put the vegetables and special spices in the skillet before adding the eggs in. Once done, she serves them both. They sit down on the island with their reboltidos and coffee. Charlie takes a bite and moans in delight.

"Holy fuck, Em. You make it just like your mom," Charlie grins.

"Well it's a recipe that's been in the family for generations," she explains to him,

"The guy who ends up with you is gonna be lucky af," he adds.

"So I've been told," she giggles.

Her phone vibrates and she sees it's a DM from Instagram.
