Em wakes up to the sunlight creeping through the curtains. She turns over and looks at the time on the nightstand. She sees it's 8:40 am and thinks it's way too early to be up after a long exhausting night. Em didn't go to bed until 1 am and she's sure Pasta didn't get in until at least 2 am. Luckily, today is an off day for the team so she can relax today. She goes to the bathroom and pees before going back to sleep. She wakes up again at 10:45am to the sound of Pasta on the phone with his family. She goes to the bathroom to freshen up when she sees a text from a group chat

She gets out of the bathroom and sees Pasta getting off the phone with his parents.

"Hi baby. Sorry, I was on the phone with my parents," he informs her, kissing her cheek.

"No need to say sorry, babe. Do you have any plans with the boys today?" she asks him.

"No we're just gonna have dinner together. Some of the guys are probably gonna take their girls out," he explains.

"Okay, well some of the Leafs WAGs want to meet up with me for lunch," she informs him.

"At what time?" he asks.

"Noon," she replies.

"Okay. I'll just text the guys and see what they're up to," he replies.
