Em and David step out of their charter plane in Prague after an 8 hour flight from Boston. David is carrying their bags and Em tries her hardest to stay awake as they make their way into the airport. They go through security and head to the terminal. They finally spot David's family and greet them. His family gushes over her giant bump and they make their way to the car. They put the luggage in the car and all pile into the car. They leave the airport and make the 4 hour drive to Havirov, which is David's hometown and where his family still lives.

"Jaký byl let? (How was the flight?)" his mother asks him.

"Dlouhá, ale opravdu dobrá (Long, but really good)" he replies.

"Můžete se zeptat Emely, jak se cítí pro mě? (Can you please ask Emely how she's feeling for me?)" she asks him.

"Babe, my mom wants to know how you're feeling," he tells Em.

"Tell her I'm doing well and that I'm really excited to be here," she replies.

He informs his mother in Czech what she said. She tells him to tell Emely that she's glad that she's excited to be in her country. David and his family spend the majority of the long car ride catching up while Em relaxes and messages her family. After what feels like forever, they arrive at David's family home. They park the car and unload the bags. They make their way to the front door and enter the home.

David gives her a tour of the house while their things are brought into David's old room. After the tour, Em sits in the living room and comes across pictures of David's father. She lifts them up and catches David looking at her.

"I see where you got your good looks from now," Em teases.

"I'll make sure not to tell my mother that," he jokes back.

"These are some really beautiful family pictures," she smiles sheepishly.

"Thank you. We try to keep his memory alive as much as possible," he adds solemnly.

"I can only imagine everything your family has gone through, but you guys are so strong," she sighs.

"It's tough, but it gets easier every day," he admits.

"Alright, this is getting depressing so let's stop talking about this," she says, causing him to chuckle lightly.

"Máte hlad? (Are you guys hungry?)" his mother asks, entering the living room from the kitchen.

"Ne, mami. Běž spát. Je po půlnoci (No, Mom. Go to sleep. It's past midnight)" he replies.

"Dobře. Půjdu do postele. Dobrou noc, synu. (Alright. I'll go to bed. Goodnight, son) Good night, Emely," she replies, switching to English at the end.

"Dobrou noc mami. Dobře se vyspi," he smiles.

"Good night, Mrs. Pastrnak," Em smiles.

His mother leaves the living room and Em checks the time and sees it's 12:26 am.

"We should probably go to the room and watch movies til we fall asleep huh?"she suggests.

"Yeah we really should," he agrees.

They leave the living room and head to David's childhood room. She sees old posters of Jaromir Jagr and Dominik Hasek on his walls and smiles.

"This room looks exactly the way I thought it would," she says, causing him to chuckle.

"It's a typical hockey kid bedroom," he replies honestly.

"Exactly, that's why I like it so much," she admits.
