xlvi. 7 month anniversary & em's 23rd bday bash

Em wakes up to the smell of breakfast being made in the kitchen. She gets up and goes to the bathroom. She does her business and makes her way downstairs, where she sees David making breakfast in his underwear.

"Morning, papí," she smiles, kissing him.

"Morning, babe. I wanted to surprise you with breakfast in bed, but I guess we can have breakfast down here," he informs her, rubbing her bump.

"Less than 8 weeks until we meet nugget," she smiles, feeling nugget kick at her father's touch.

"I honestly can't wait to meet her," he smiles, kissing her bump.

"Me neither babe! So what are we doing today?" she asks.

"Are you down to go to the beach today?" he asks.

"Yeah," she smiles.

"Where should we go? Nantucket or Martha's Vineyard?" he asks.

"Martha's Vineyard. I've always wanted to go there," she admits.

"Then Martha's Vineyard it is," he replies.

"Looks like we better get ready then," she smiles.

He finishes breakfast and they eat it together while watching the local news. They clean up and go upstairs to get ready for the day. They shower together and get dressed for the day. They pack their bags with stuff for the day trip to the island. They then head downstairs and leave the house.

They get into David's car and she plugs her phone in. The song Boyfriend by Ariana Grande & Social House comes on and she jams along as they make the drive to North Kingstown, RI to take the fast ferry to Martha's Vineyard. They arrive at the terminal at 11:28, which gives them enough time to get on the 11:45 am ferry to the Island.

They buy their tickets at the terminal lobby and wait for the ferry to arrive. It arrives and they make their way inside, going up to the top for the full view. As soon as the boat takes off, Em starts taking pictures and vids, posting them on her Snap and IG stories. After a while, they arrive on the island. They get off the boat and make their way to the information center.

"Babe, take a pic of me please," Em practically begs.

"Of course," he sighs.

She hands him her phone and he takes a couple pics. He shows them to her and she approves of them. As he gets directions from the information desk, she posts the pics on her IG.
