Em wakes up to the sound of David's alarm going off. She turns around and sees him turning off the alarm on his phone.

"Morning, baby. How did my girls sleep?" he asks, kissing her.

"Good. We shall see about tonight though," she smiles.

"21 weeks today," he smiles, kissing her bump.

"Yeah, can't believe I'm more than halfway done with my pregnancy. The symptoms for this week are heartburn and/or indigestion, Braxton Hicks contractions, leaky boobs, dry, itchy skin, and stretch marks," she reads from the app.

"All those creams and lotions are gonna come in clutch this week then," he replies, referring to various ones that he has bought for her.

"Oh definitely! Be prepared for all the massage sessions!" she teases.

"Looking forward to it," he smiles, getting out of bed.

She follows him out of bed and heads to the kitchen with him. He starts making breakfast while she sits down on the couch and turns on the TV. She watches the morning local news for a couple minutes before he brings food to her.

"Thank you baby," she smiles.

"Anything for my wifey," he smiles back, kissing her forehead.

They eat while watching the news before David has to leave for skate. He gets up and puts his empty plate in the sink. He then goes to the room and changes into comfy clothes and grabbing his things.

"Bye baby. Drive safe and have a great skate," she smiles, kissing him.

"Thank you baby. I'll see you two soon," he smiles, kissing her bump.

He grabs his things and leaves the condo. She cleans up the kitchen before heading to the room. She calls Dr. Rosario's office.

"Dr. Rosario's office. This is Tara speaking. How may I help you?" a receptionist asks.

"Hello, Tara. This is Emely Rodriguez. I'd like to set up an appointment for my glucose challenge test," Em informs her.

"Okay, Emely. What's your date of birth please?" she asks.

"August 26, 1996," Em informs her.

"Alright Emely. This test is taken between 24 and 28 weeks. Your 24th week starts on June 27th and your 28th week starts on July 25th. So any day between then is perfect," she informs her.

"Is July 1st available?" Em asks.

"Yes, we have 11:15am available for that day," she replies.

"That's perfect. Thank you," Em smiles.

"Okay, Emely. Your appointment has been set up. Make sure you are available for a couple hours that day as you will have to wait an hour before Dr. Rosario can take a sample of your blood. Then you have to wait for the results," she explains.

"Alright. I have nothing else scheduled for that day," Em informs her.

"Okay, We'll see you soon. Have a great day, Emely," she smiles.

"You as well," Em smiles back, before hanging up.

She also hits up the "Lady Bruins 🐻" groupchat to talk about baby shower planning since she would like to have one near the end of September.
