xxiii. eastern conference round one games three & four

Em wakes up to the sound of Pasta's alarm going off at 8:15am. She turns around and kisses his cheek.

"Go back to sleep, baby," he tells her.

"Mhm, I will," she replies, her eyes closing again.

Pasta changes into his clothes for skate and leaves the room for team breakfast. After breakfast, the team heads to Scotiabank Arena for skate.

Em wakes up at 9:32 am and goes to the bathroom. She freshens up and orders room service for breakfast. She makes the bed and sits down to record her next youtube video. She sets her camera on the dresser and starts recording.

"Hey guys, it's Em and welcome back to my channel. If you're new to my channel, then welcome. If you can't tell from the title of this video, I'll be doing a pregnancy Q&A today. You guys sent me all your questions on Instagram so I'm gonna respond to them. But first, I'm just gonna give you guys a view of my bump."

She gets up and shows her bump.

"Also sorry for the weird set-up. As you can tell, I'm not at home in Boston. I'm actually at a hotel in Toronto as David is in the playoffs right now and he plays game 3 tonight against Toronto. By the time you guys will be seeing this, I'll actually be in Boston. But anyways, let's get started on those questions."

"First question is how did I find out I was pregnant? So, it was February 21st and I was at a Rangers game in New York and I hadn't been feeling well. So, I asked one of the wives of the players about what I was feeling and if it was normal when I miss my period. It's actually pretty common that I miss periods because of how athletic I am. Anyway, she told me that I might be pregnant. So, I bought some tests after the game and took them. The next day, I went to my doctor and she confirmed the pregnancy. I was 6 weeks and a day at the time."

"Next question is how did I tell David I was pregnant? Honestly, I was in New York at the time and he was in Boston. I just called him and told him. He was really excited about it. Next question is how did my family react? Well, my sisters were super excited to become Aunts. My mom was okay with it and my dad was upset at first but came around pretty quickly."

"Next question is do I know the sex, and if so what is it? No, I don't know the sex yet and I don't want to know yet until later in the pregnancy. I might make a lil video revealing it in a cool way. Next question is if I'm gonna go back to dancing after having the baby? Yes, I plan on going back to dancing. It'll take a while because obviously, I'm gonna be taking care of a baby, but I'll make it back eventually."

"Next question is if I'm gonna do the Baby Momma challenge with David? Hopefully yes! I know I want to do it but I don't know if he'll want to do it with me! Next question is if I'm gonna start vlogging or doing pregnancy updates on here? Maybe. Right now, I'm super busy because David's in the playoffs with the team, so I'm doing a lot of traveling, as you can tell. Once the playoffs are over, I'll have more time to do stuff. "Alright the last question I'm gonna do is do I have names picked out? Yes, I do. I have a few boy and girl names picked out. David's letting me pick the names for the most part. Alright, I had a lot of questions but the majority of them were very similar or were non-pregnancy related. I'll answer those questions in a non-pregnancy Q&A some other time."
