"Can you believe this!" Ethan yelled. "Two fourth years somehow managed to get in and we didn't!"
"This is rubbish!" Aquila yelled. After the three-well, now five-Champions had left the Hall, Aquila and Ethan began shouting about how utterly unfair it was.
"Harry f-ing Potter has done it again!" Ethan yelled. "And so has Trelawney's daughter!"
"Hey! Don't say anything bad about Jennifer!" Aquila shouted at Ethan. "I'll mess your face up!"
"I'm just angry, okay! When I find out how those imbeciles did it-"
"Have at Potter!" Aquila yelled. "But you keep Jennifer out of this!"
"Let's change the subject!" Richard yelled, walking toward them. "Let's talk about your friend, Cedric Diggory, and his good looks."
"Now is not the time, Richard," Ethan said.
"I bet hundreds of girls-and guys of course-will be practically throwing themselves at that glorious man," Richard continued. "Especially now that he's a Champion."
The realization that he might've been right startled Aquila. "Anyone who even looks at Cedric in any flirtatious manner will feel my wrath!" she yelled.
"Someone's got a crush," Ethan said.
"What?" Aquila asked. "I have nothing of the sort!"
"Aquila loves Cedric!" Ethan chanted.
"Not if I can help it," Richard said.
"Butt out, Richard!" Aquila shouted.
Richard's face fell. "I'm sorry, Aquila, I was just joking around-"
"Well, I'm not!" Aquila told him. "There is a serious problem here! Jennifer could be in danger!"
"What about Harry?" Ethan asked.
"Screw Harry!" Aquila yelled.
"I might," Richard said.
"Good Merlin, Richard! Must you make those comments?"
"Yes."
"I find them funny," Ethan said.
"Don't encourage him!" Aquila scolded.
"You're beginning to sound like Cedric," he told her.
"I'm around that boy way too much," she said. "I'm losing my Slytherin charm."
"You're only around him all the time because you like him," Richard inferred. "I'll keep away from him if you'd like, but that Cho Chang girl..."
"I'll kick Cho Chang's ass!" Aquila yelled.
"Yep, she likes him," Ethan concluded outloud.
"Okay, maybe a little," Aquila admitted, "but we're just friends."
"Just kiss him already," Richard said. "You two would look so cute together."
"Easy for you to say," Aquila said. "I don't even know he likes me."
"I'm sure he does," Ethan said. "Just ask him."
"Yeah, that won't work," Aquila told him.
"Why not?" Richard asked.
"He's Cedric Diggory," she said. "And according to you, hundreds of girls will like him now. Who is Aquila Whitman against hundreds of prettier, not Slytherin girls?"
"Cedric likes you," Ethan said. "I'll prove it."
"How?"
"I've got a brother who can prove anything."
"Jonas the Genius?"
"Yeah."

"According to Jonas, Cedric likes you," Ethan told Aquila in the hallway.
"Look at the way she's looking at him," Aquila said through gritted teeth. "I will kill that bitch."
"Who?" Ethan asked. "Cho Chang?"
"Yes!" She yelled. "Cho Chang will die!"
"Violent," Ethan said. "Maybe you should say that quieter. She's right there."
"Maybe I should say it louder so she hears me! She's been following Cedric around like a lost puppy! And he's been letting her!"
"He's just being polite," Ethan told her. "You know that's how he is."
"Are you guys talking about Cedric?" George asked running to them with Fred behind him.
"Yeah," Ethan said. "Why?"
"Word in the corridors is that he's been hanging out with Cho Chang quite frequently," Fred said.
"How frequently?" Aquila asked.
"We shouldn't be telling you this," Fred said.
"But we are," George finished.
"We found this map in our first year," Fred said.
"The Marauders' Map," George specified.
"And it shows where everyone is."
"And what they're doing."
"Every minute-"
"Of every day."
"What?" Aquila and Ethan asked in unison.
"We let Harry have it," George said.
"But we take it back from time to time," Fred noted.
"And last night we saw Cedric and Cho in the library-"
"Alone."
"Together."
"Out passed curfew."
Aquila balled her hands into fists and contorted her face unwillingly.
"Quil, are you alright?" Ethan asked.
"Cho Chang," Aquila muttered. "I am coming for you."
She stormed down the corridors and passed Cedric and Cho, making sure to knock all of Cho's books out of her hands. Aquila didn't bother to help her pick them up or say sorry. Instead, she said, "Careful, Cho Chang. Next time it won't be the books that fall."
"What was that about?" the twins asked Ethan.
"Aquila's got a crush," he said.
"No way!" George yelled. "That can't be!"
"Accept it, Georgie," Fred said. "You owe me five galleons."
Ethan stood there with an open mouth, "Did you really place bets on that?"
"Well, yeah," Fred said. "I bet it'd be Aquila that showed the first signs of love, and George over here thought it'd be Cedric."
"That's ridiculous!" Ethan said. "You seriously bet on that?"
"Yes," the twins said.
Ethan looked around, sighed, then whispered, "Three galleons says Cho Chang will be dead by next week."
