The Great Hall was as it usually was: loud, cheerful, and full of food. Ethan and Cedric sat down next to each other at the Hufflepuff table, Ethan getting a few strange glances from some of the students in Gryffindor and Slytherin.

Alexis sat with Carlos at the Slytherin table, and both of them wondered where Aquila was. She hadn't been in the dorms that morning, and Alexis was starting to worry.

"She's fine," Carlos insisted. "The girl probably fell asleep in a corridor last night. You know how she gets when she's tired after detention."

"She had detention?" Alexis asked. "From who?"

"Snape, probably," he answered, cutting into a waffle. "Trust me, Lexi; Quil's fine."

At the entrance to the Hall, a Drumstrang girl leaned against the wall, scanning the room like a predictor stalking its prey. The girl spotted who she was looking for; then she walked towards him.

"Can you believe the lies he's been telling?" the boy she was looking for said to a group of his peers. "Saying after what happened between us, he feels nothing towards me. Total crap if you ask me."

"Excuse me," the girl said, tapping him on the shoulder. "Are you Trent?"

"You've heard of me?" Trent asked her.

"Yeah," she said. "I heard you're a complete asshole."

"Excuse me?" Trent was shocked that this random stranger had called him that. "Who do you think you are, saying things like that to me?"

"Who do I think I am? Who do you think you are, Trent? How dare you do what you did to us!"

"To who?" he asked. "What did I do?"

"You kissed my boyfriend, you insufferable ogre!"

"What's going on over there?" Ethan asked Cedric. Over at the Gryffindor table, there seemed to be a fight. Ethan couldn't see who was doing what, but there was an angry looking girl with her hands on her hips.

"I suppose someone's gone and messed with that girl," Cedric said. "She doesn't look too happy."

"Yeah, probably," Ethan said, taking his attention off of the fight and back on to what mattered most, his breakfast.

However, he couldn't stop himself from glancing back up at the fight once more. When he did, he saw who the girl was yelling at. It was the guy who claimed they were dating.

"Bloody thestral dung!" Ethan exclaimed, standing up abruptly.

"What!" Cedric yelled, standing up quickly and knocking over his drink.

"Its him," Ethan said.

"It's her," Cedric sighed, crossing his arms.

The two boys looked at each other before quickly running over to the scene.

"Your boyfriend?" Trent asked the girl, standing up to face her properly.

"Did I stutter?" she asked, her eyes shooting bullets at him.

"That guy from Hufflepuff is your boyfriend?" he asked, his eyes held their arrogant stare, but she could see him tensing up. "I was just trying to help-"

"I could've done that!" the girl yelled. "He didn't need you getting all up in his business and infecting him with your lips!"

By this time, Cedric and Ethan arrived on the scene. Cedric was ready to grab the girl and drag her away, but Ethan stopped him. "She told us to put on our acting faces," he muttered to Cedric.

Cedric nodded, although he wasn't happy about it.

"Ethan!" the girl yelled, running up to him and hugging him. Once she let go of him, she asked, "This is him right? The one you told me about?"

"Yeah, that's him... babe," he added awkwardly at the end.

"Great," she said. "I'll take care of him for you, sweetie. Just give me a minute-"

"No, Aqu-" Cedric tried to yell, but Ethan covered his mouth with his hand.

"You do that," Ethan said approvingly.

Cedric wasn't amused.

"Listen here, Trent," the girl said angrily, stepping toward the Gryffindor who was noticeably scared. "I want you to go to all of your little buddies and tell them that you're a desperate prick who can't get a man. And you tell everyone that what you said about my precious little Ethey Bear is a lie, you toerag!"

Cedric rolled his eyes at that horrific nickname. Why? He thought. Why must she be like this?

"Alright, alright!" Trent exclaimed. "I will, I swear!"

"Good," she said. "But until these rumors are gone, I'll be keeping one eye on you."

The girl turned around to face Cedric and Ethan. She flashed them a smile and winked. Then, she grabbed Ethan's hand and drug him out of the Hall. Cedric followed them.

"You're welcome, Ethan," the girl said.

"Who are you?" Ethan asked.

The girl started laughing so hard she fell onto the floor. She rolled around in laughter until she finally collected herself and looked up at Ethan. "You really don't know? For real?"

"I've never seen you before," he told her.

Cedric snickered, "As much as Ethan appreciated your help, don't you have a boyfriend? A real one?"

"Ethan is perfectly real to me," she said. "He is a real, living human. Our love may be fake, but that doesn't make him any less real."

"But you aren't real," Cedric said.

"I am real, eyebrow sweat!" she yelled. "Can you see me? Yes! So I am real! Haha!"

"You're hair is changing colors," Cedric noted.

"I'm aware," she said.

"Hold on!" Ethan yelled. "You're Aquila!?"

"Took you long enough to figure it out, Ethey Bear," she said, flipping her now completely green hair.

"Never call me that again," he said.

"No promises."
