Aquila went outside after talking with Jennifer. For some reason, the stars called to her when she was sad or really happy, and that evening, she was just itching to go outside. She sat by the lake, looking up at the sky in wonder.
It's been a long time.
Aquila smiled when she saw the stars shift into that sentence. It felt good to talk to the stars again.
"I know," Aquila said. "I know. I'm sorry, but these past few years have been crazy! Surely you guys know what Lighting Scar and Chess Boy have been up to! It's been chaos! I wish I had more time to converse with you..."
Don't worry, Star Girl. All is forgiven.
It was strange how the stars called her Star Girl. How they even knew of that name was a mystery to her. Yet, she didn't bother to question it; the stars seemed to know everything.
"That's a relief," Aquila sighed. "I have a feeling you called me out here for something far more important than to forgive me though. What is it?"
It's your friend, the one you call Seeker Boy.
"It's actually Responsible Mom now, but carry on."
He is in danger.
"That's not shocking, considering he's in the Triwizard Tournament. I've heard it's dangerous."
Star Girl, this is serious. He will survive the first and second tasks, but beware the third. For the third will be his doom.
"Define doom," Aquila said.
Death. Downfall. Demise.
"That's some high class alliteration," Aquila said, rolling her eyes. "I highly doubt he'll die. He's Cedric Ricardo Diggory; he can do anything."
That was yet another bad guess.
"Wow, I forgot how sassy you are."
Star Girl, you have to warn your friend. You must tell him he's in grave danger.
"Why can't Ching Chong just do it? Why do I have to be the one who talks to that son of a hippogriff? This might amaze you, stars, but Seeker Boy and Star Girl aren't exactly on speaking terms right now!"
You must tell him! The one you call Ching cannot be the messenger! It must be you!
"I'm sorry, but no," Aquila said. "I'm not talking to Cedric until he apologizes to me!"
"About what?"
Aquila spun around and saw Richard staring up at her.
"Merlin, Richard!" she breathed. "You gave me a heart attack!"
"Who were you talking to?" Richard asked.
"The stars, Richard. I can talk to the stars."
"You're Star Girl?"
"You sound surprised."
"Why does Cedric need to apologize?" Richard asked, changing the subject.
"We aren't exactly... compatible right now. We-well, it was mostly me-but we got into a sort of dispute over Ching Chong-"
"Cho Chang?"
"Ching Chong," Aquila repeated. "And he said she was amazing and witty and... pretty... but that's so not true! I mean, have you seen her? Basic..."
"I know how you're feeling," Richard said.
"What could you possibly know about this, Richard? You're gay. You don't have to worry about they guy you like calling some other bitch pretty!"
"Actually, I do," he said. "Since most of Hogwarts is made of straight guys, my fishing line is a bit limited. If the guy I like is straight, yeah, I do have to worry about him calling a girl pretty."
"But Cho Chang isn't even pretty!" Aquila yelled.
"Look, I get that you're down in the dumps, but I might have a way to solve your Cho Chang problem."
"I'm listening."
"Word on the street is, Harry Potter likes Cho Chang. If we can get her notice Potter's affections, then she'll leave you to Cedric."
"Yes, Richard! You're a genius! Who can turn down a date with Harry freakin' Potter?"
"Um... there's one problem," Richard said.
"What?" Aquila asked.
"Potter doesn't have a way with words..."
"Merlin, help me!"

Harry Potter refused to take advice from Aquila. She pestered him every chance she got, but he simply wouldn't listen to her.
The first task came quickly, and Aquila was nervous. She wasn't nervous for Cedric; the stars told her he'd live. She was worried about Jennifer. She was only a fourth year!
She sat with Ethan and his brother Jonas in the stands. Jonas kept his head in a book, and his lack of interest was irritating Aquila.
Even once the task began, and Cedric took the field, Jonas was glued to his book.
Aquila smiled once Cedric transfigured a rock into a puppy like she suggested. He listened to her over Cho, and that alone was enough to life Aquila's spirits.
But the dragon decided the dog wasn't enough, so it dove at Cedric.
"NO! DAMN DRAGON! GO AWAY! GO AWAY FROM MY CEDRIC!"
"Shut up, Aquila!" Jonas yelled. "I'm trying to read!"
Aquila grabbed Jonas's book and threw it into the stands. "Now you can watch the task!"
"NO! I WAS ALOMST DONE READING THAT!"
"GO CEDRIC! GO! RUUUUUN! FASTER!"
"IF I DON'T RETURN THAT BOOK TO THE LIBRARY, MADAM PRINCE WILL KILL ME!"
"STOP IT DRAGON! NO! BAD DRAGON! LEAVE HIM ALONE!"
"WHAT DID YOU THROW IT FOR?!"
"YES! YES! HE GOT THE EGG! GO! GO CED! RUN! RUN! YOU CAN-AHH BLOODY THING BREATHES FIRE! CEDRIC GET YOUR ASS OUT OF THERE!"
"I NEED THAT BOOK!"
"SHUT UP, JONAS, OR I'M THROWING YOU NEXT!"
"She told you," Ethan said.
"But my book!" Jonas whined.
"BUT CEDRIC!" Aquila yelled in his face. "Did you see that dragon? It tried to kill him!"
"Meanwhile, you killed my book," Jonas sulked.
"Oh, I'm sure Jonas the Genius will be able to revive it," Ethan said.
"Don't be ridiculous, Ethan!" Jonas yelled. "You can't bring people back from the dead!"
"Books aren't people," Ethan said.
"YES THEY ARE!"
