Aquila didn't tell Cedric about Nash becoming a Death Eater; she wanted to, but she didn't. The whole Death Eater business wasn't something Cedric should be concerned with in her opinion.
As far as Aquila knew, she had everything taken care of. She'd flee the country for a few months, then come back, and everything would good. The Death Eaters wouldn't try to recruit her, and she would be left to live out her adult years as peacefully as she wished to. She'd live in a cottage in a remote forest somewhere with her husband, and she'd name her kid Eyebrow Sweat Whitman.
Yes, she had her life planned out, and becoming a Death Eater was not part of her itinerary.
Cedric spent the night at Nash's house. Because Nash trusted his sister, he allowed Cedric to sleep in Aquila's room. "But if I find out about any funny business," he warned, "I'll send you back to Mum and Dad's for the rest of the summer."
"Geez, Nashy," Aquila laughed. "Have a little more trust."
Nash glared at her, "And one more thing. He needs to be out of this house before noon tomorrow. Mum's coming to discuss private matters with me, and if she sees him here, there'll be hell to pay."
She nodded, "Understood, Nash. Goodnight."
"Goodnight, Aquila."

"My horrid mother is coming tomorrow," Aquila told Cedric. "I'd love for you to meet her, but I'd also love for you to go home in one piece."
"Yeah," Cedric said. "I'll choose the latter."
"That's what I thought," she said.
The two seventeen-year-olds sat on the floor next to each other. Aquila wanted to stargaze, but the sky was far too cloudy; while she could move stars, she couldn't move the clouds. And Cedric's plan of a midnight broom ride was canceled due to the rain. Aquila would've gone with him, but he didn't want to get his broom wet.
So, they settled for the late night discussion that was lead by Aquila's strange thoughts. "Why is the world round?" she asked. "It could've been any shape it liked, but it picked round?"
"It had to do with the way it formed in space," Cedric said. "You should know this; you're the astrology scholar."
"I never understood planets though," Aquila said. "Sure, I can name all of Jupiter's moons, but I can't tell you why they're shaped that way or what they do or anything. I just don't understand planets."
"There's nothing to understand," he said. "They're just balls in space."
Aquila snorted, "Space balls." Once she started laughing, she couldn't stop. "Do those muggles who travel to space have space balls?"
"Must you take everything out of context?" Cedric asked, chuckling a little himself.
"I'm going to write a letter to Ethan," Aquila announced, walking over to grab a piece of parchment. "It's going to be a Howler."
"Oh, Merlin, Aquila!" Cedric shouted. "You'll wake your brother."
"You're the one shouting," she said calmly. "Okay, writing message in five, four, three, two, one! ETHAN! I'VE GOT AN IMPORTANT MESSAGE TO DELIVER!"
"Aquila, don't-"
"YOU'RE STANDING ON SPACE BALLS RIGHT NOW!"
"AQUILA!"
"INTERPRET AS YOU WISH!"
Suddenly, there was another voice shouting at them, "AQUILA! SHUT YOUR BLOODY MOUTH OR SO HELP ME MERLIN, I'LL TOSS YOU AND YOUR BOYFRIEND OUT!"
"And, send," Aquila whispered. "Ethan will love this."
"He's going to kill you," Cedric said.
"No, I am if you won't shut up!" Nash yelled.

"Wake up, wake up, wake up!" Aquila yelled into Cedric's ear. "You've gotta go! Mean Mama is coming in an hour!"
"Merlin," Cedric muttered, covering his ears. "That's not a good way to start the morning."
"A thank you would suffice," she said.
"Five more minutes," Cedric muttered.
"No!" Aquila yelled, pulling him off of the floor. "Get up and get out!"
"You're not very hospitable in the mornings are you?" he asked, rubbing his eyes.
"You take that back," she warned him.
"Or what if I don't?" he asked.
"I'll send you a Howler, eyebrow sweat," Aquila told him. "Now get your butt moving."
No matter how fast Cedric would've gone, he still wouldn't have been fast enough to escape the wrath of Vega Whitman.
