Avni and Neil finally broke their kiss and rested their foreheads against each other. Neil's arms were just tucked securely at her waist and lower back and her arms were draped on his neck and cheek. Even now they were so close that people may be thinking that they were actually kissing. "Come home. Everyone's waiting. Mowgli's waiting for his perfect family." He whispered to her, their lips touching. "Everyone?" She said while sighing deeply. "Why do you ask this?" "Your mom, who always looks up for your happiness, would she want me again?" She replied scoffing. "It's nothing like that. She'd love to have you back." Neil said slowly as he feared what she might be saying was true. "She loves you with that brat. Or maybe, she just differentiates between me and others on the basis of legitimacy." She said biting her lip to stop the tears threatening to fall. Neil knew he couldn't do anything about this rather than diverting the topic at which he was best. "We'll marry again Av." Neil started and placed a huge grin on his face. She raised her eyebrows. "I have some another plans." Came her reply which made his eyes widen to a no-extent. "You mean you're not coming back to me?" Neil gulped. "No stupid. I mean you might see another me like how I was during my teens except for the fact about the fire raging in my heart. Okay so first we were what?" She asked raising her hands. "Um. Friends?" We just kissed and.." she cut her off and said "Yeah we are but let's take it to another level

She was about to sit when she remembered. "Neil where is Rahul? I haven't seen him since a long time." She said while looking around for any signs of him. Neil held her hand and made her sit and knelt in front of her. "Avni he's in the jail. The person who attacks on you was him." He paused to look at her. She was still, but the tears threatened to spill at any moment now. "When and how did you know?" She asked finally wiping them off. "The day he came. A bullet wound was there on his hand. That day, I was sure my gun had hit someone and then I  saw him. His intentions didn't seem clear to me so I asked dd to arrest him." "I trusted him. I.. I don't know why this happens to me?" She began sobbing. Neil hugged her and consoled her. "Am I safe?" She asked in a small tone. "Yes. Perfectly. No one's going to hurt you." He replied caressing her hair. Neil kissed her forehead and drove off.
"Take care." He muttered and backed away a few steps ready to go. Avni gestured to give him a flying kiss and Neil pretended to catch it and stick it to his heart. Finally he went and Avni had a huge grin plastered on her face. "I never lived this life." She crashed to her bed thinking about how to trouble him further. A beep from her phone woke her up. A message from Neil. God he's so restless. Such a cute boyfriend I've got.
