Avni.. Neil whispered. The kerosene floating above had caught fire.

And he could do nothing.
He felt Ali tugging at his arm, pulling him and taking him out.

But Neil was not in his senses.
He could imagine Avni, struggling to rise above the water. The gun powder would soon catch fire, everything would explode and get destroyed.

If there's another war, I'd be dead. Avni had said.

Ali took him out near the edge of the forest. Avni kaha hai Neil? Ali asked shaking him. Neil just stared at the burning warehouse, tears didn't fall. But he was falling from inside.

Ali noticed him staring inside and hugged him in response. We have to ensure her sacrifice won't get wasted Neil. Ali whispered.

Neil stood emotionless. He had promised that he wouldn't let her die. But....

Understanding what Neil was going through, Akash and Ali quickly hurried them all out, supporting Neil.

In the passway between the forests, Neil came back to his senses. AVNI! Neil yelled and struggled to release himself from their clutches.

Avni is inside! She's waiting for me! He shrieked pushing them all but seven against one wasn't an option.

She has our baby! He begged but the entire forest was on fire now. They all dragged Neil into the car and took off to his home.

Riya was waiting eagerly for them.

Neil I sent Mowgli. And I'm sure you- She began but noticed Neil's sullen face and paused.

She looked at Ali who replied in utter dismay..

Neil slumped into a nearby corner, irrespective of all of them standing there.

Riya couldn't comprehend that all. Just a few hours ago she was with them, explaining it all to them all. And now, there wasn't a slightest hint of her.

It was barely two months since they started life together again, one months of her being pregnant, after eight months they would have their baby. But now, for entire lifetime it was just Neil and Mowgli. In less than Two months, Avni was snatched away from him, yet again.

Shekhar went out suddenly.

Neil was drowning. Had he released Avni out first, she would be alive. Had he never left her hand in the water, she would be alive. Had he said a no to her plan of going in, she would be alive. No one spoke for the next few hours. The loss, the sole reason for whom they were fighting was no more alive.

Ali that's not possible. Neil said right? And we all saw it. The whole damn forest caught fire. The water pressure was high. Akash said, with pity in his voice.

Ali's expression drowned once more.

Why was the dead body not there then? Riya said, almost defending Ali's opinion.

Was there any other body there? Mitali asked. She wasn't a rival of Avni. But finding her dead, was a sad news for her as well.

No. Shekhar whispered. He merely knew Avni but...

See Riya. There were others. The bodies just turned into a heap of ashes. Mitali justified.

So it's all over then? Aladdin asked, sadly. His superstar was no more. No one was there who would call him crackpot.

Dayawanti got what she wanted. Kia said.

I was already seeing a gaping hole in this. Couldn't believe it's Avni. Akash said.

Dayawanti didn't get what she wanted. Neil spoke finally.

They all looked at him, confused.

Why would a follower of hers get so keen on killing Avni? That he was ready to sacrifice his own life? Neil asked looking at them all.

And Mowgli too. Neil added. His forehead rested as he understood what Dayawanti actually wanted.

She's after Muslims. Neil summed it up and then it dawned upon everyone.

Religion can be very influencing. And you know the so called rivalry between Hindus and Muslims. People can be provoked. They don't see a reason. Of course she'd been going around promising people. Neil said, sighing in the end. Why did that mentality still exist?

It's not over. Dayawanti is after you guys. And we need to seek revenge. For Avni. Neil said, nostrils flaring, jaw tightening, fists clenching.

Avni wanted this to end. She wanted her end. Akash spoke up after a while.
