LEAVE MY SON DAYAWANTI! Neil shrieked proceeding towards her with his gun pointed mercilessly at her.

He had to stop as she triggered it and fearful sobs fell from Mowgli's eyes.

What do you want? You were after Avni right? She died! Happy? Leave him atleast! Neil begged, his nostrils flaring.

Teri barbadi! She spoke and laughed devilishly.

He said, wiping his tears, and reassuring Mowgli through his eyes that he won't let anything happen to him..

You've outnumbered me Neil. If I don't take this step, you'll kill me today . I'll do the work and go. She justified her reason. She was scared of his wrath.

She readied the gun and was about to shoot him.

Neil charged towards her hungrily with his knife but it was too late.

He stopped midway and closed his eyes, hearing a gunshot.

Mitali beside him, gasped and he could hear her and the many officers behind her shooting. What use was it when he had even lost his son?

He opened his eyes, expecting to see Mowgli lying with blood sneered all over his innocent face. Instead he was happy to find him still sitting on his knees. He looked what had happened.

Dayawanti was in the distance, duelling with her arms, with someone else while the others had charged on her men.

He ran upto Mowgli untying him and hugged him, so relieved.

Papa vo.. he began but Neil clutched him tightly making him quite.

He was capable of defending Mowgli.

He picked him up in his lap, holding him securely. He went to aid the others especially Riya who was unable to fight a large no. of them advancing towards her.

He handed Mowgli to her and began beating them.

That was of no use.
They turned out to be stronger than him.

Just one of them was left.

He raised his arm to attack on Neil's chest. Neil defended it but the other guy was ready and jabbed his hand straight through his gut.

Blood oozed from his mouth as he fell on his knees, groaning. His gun had been kicked out while the goon had pointed his own at his head.

He decided it was time to finish this.

He was falling too weak to get up and fight. One. More. Time.

The cold metal, pressed against his temple. Heat surged from there, preparing the bullet to sway straight through his head. Before either of that could happen another gunshot was heard and he saw that the man, was lying face down with his body covered in his own blood.

He heard someone panting heavily and swearing something like
No..not my h.. husband you bastard.

He shot his eyes open hearing it. Before he could catch a glimpse of the owner of that voice, there was a loud crash. The part of the building had been beaten down just in the middle.

Instead of the person who saved his life, a pile of ruins was kept.

He quickly ran from there, searching for Dayawanti.

It wasn't too difficult to find her. She was laying on the floor, also in blood but alive. He saw another thing and his heart stopped beating.

Walking near Dayawanti, as the arms of death, with a metal rod, clanging to the tiles beneath them, with each advancing step, creating fear in Dayawanti's eyes, with muddy face, tattered clothes, dirty blonde hair, and a big swollen stomach with an innocent life in it was

AVNI! Neil yelled and had started to proceed towards her, thinking it to be an illusion.

Neil stop. It's got to be her who stops it. Please. She wants to end this Neil. Mitali said, clutching his arm. Neil would ruin it. Maybe Daya would hold him as hostage ruining this perfect chance.

She fell down, due to the weight, in her body as well as in her hand.

She raised her head, limping very badly. With each step, her strength was draining too.

To keep me captivated for eight months! She said hitting her one last time on her head, as she clutched her swollen stomach in pain and laid on her back in acute pain.

Neil ran towards her, still in shock, keeping her head in his lap.

He looked at her, to get his full.
She took his hand, and placed it over her bump and fainted for the pain she was giving to herself was beyond her limits to control.
