Neil closed Avni's eyes and made her come upstairs to the room. "Now see." He whispered and she opened her eyes. "Now that's something of my sort." Avni said, side hugging Neil.

"Arey, aadhaa kaam maine bhi kiya. Poora credit le gaye aap to dadda (Hey! Even I did half of the work. And you took the entire credit dadda.)" Mowgli said. Avni smiled and hugged him too.

"Mowgli, um since its your vacation going on, W..we have decided to send you to Manhattan along with Dadu, Daadi and badi daadi." Avni said while Neil looked at her like We-decided-to-tell-him-later.

"Are you guys coming with me?" He asked, fearing what was coming next.

"Bacha it's risky here. I can't lose you. You were my support when no one trusted me. And you're even now. Please try to understand. Once this all is over we'll get you back. Mumma and dadda are looking for a big school for you there. You'll have so many friends... Unlike mumma." She said, trying her best to lure the little one.

He released herself from her clutches. "This is what I get for my trust in you?" He asked in a broken tone.

"I.. MOWGLI!" Avni said as he ran away. Neil held her when she was about to go. "Avni he'll get over it." But she could only see the tears on his face and ran behind him.

She held him firmly to stop him from struggling. "I trust you more than Neil baby. More than myself. I love you. That's why I'm sending you baby. It's risky here." "YEAH! And then what about you? Are you not in risk?" He asked.

"Mowgli I'm sorry I can't give in to this demand of yours." She said firmly. "I'll stay here. No matter what." He said. "I'll be staying with Mumma and Papa. Together. And my sister." He said possessively.

She was about to yell at the poor soul when Neil came to his rescue. "Avni let him be with us. For just one mission of busting that we were talking about. And then baby you have to go." Neil said.

Mowgli smiled. He was fine with this. Avni shook her head like Was.not expecting this Neil. And stormed off in her room.

He chased her behind, and closed the door after entering.
"You're not being a dad Neil." She said calmly.
"We... we're just going to.bust her base. That's enough for him. There's no risk in that." He said.

"NEIL WHY DONT YOU UNDERSTAND?" She yelled. "I don't want him to become like me. Fighting at such a small age. And what if...what if he gets hurt? I'll be the one responsible. Look I know, fighting goons, with gunshots all around may sound like a really cool stuff! TRUST ME IT'S NOT! I used to think the same until.." She paused, panting heavily. "Until My own Grandmother called me illigetimate. Until, Me and Mumma fought goons that she sent. Until, I saw my mother lying in a pool of blood in that horrible car accident. Until my own father accused me of mumma's murder. Until, I suffered a gunshot to my chest." She finished, looking at him with bloodshot eyes.

"We promised not to talk about this. You're badly affecting our child Avni." Neil said, touching her belly.

"Neil bahut ho gaya yaar. I'm telling you, if another war happens, I won't survive this time. I'll be dead. And I'm sure there's a war coming up." She said and went into the washroom to change her clothes.

She came out. And Neil was ready with his Answer.
"Before any harm even tries to touch you, trust me I'll be there in front of it before you. I won't lose you this time. You're mine. Only mine."

"Look we know, this area somewhere deep in the coastal woodlands, is where she's keeping her ammunition. We need to destroy this base. But before that-" Avni said but was cut off by Neil "We need to check if Shekhar, Riya and M..Mitali are trustworthy." Neil completed for her.

"Exactly. I have a plan coming up." She said.
The next morning,
The army was lined up inside the house. Avni began speaking-
"Look the first step is to destroy her ammunition so that she doesn't have enough weapons to harm us. The point is we don't know where it is." She lied at the last line. "So, Shekhar, since you're an undercover agent, you'll help me find out her base. Carefully and safely, not to forget quickly. So you may go now." She said and Neil saw a boss in her. Atleast stay stressfree in your pregnancy.

As Shekhar went, Avni turned to Riya. "Riya you're her granddaughter." Avni said. "But trust me I don't have any relations with her Avni. I know you might distrust me because of how I treated you in the past. But please trust me." Riya begged. "I..I know." Avni lied once again but with full confidence.

"Dayawanti doesn't know about it. So if you could lure her somehow and get some information which she might accidentally leak." Avni said and Riya went at once.

"Mitali.." Avni began but she had started already.

"I know why you're doing this. Avni I had no idea that Dayawanti was alive. I picked to enact that because I had worked with you and Neil before to fight you. I knew she's your nerve. That's why. But I united you both right? Agar main chahti to Neil ko apni taraf kar sakti thi. But I did not, what does this prove? That I'm pairing with Daya to destroy you. Avni if We would have wanted to destroy you it would have been easier for us to leave you alone. Cause if you're alone, you're not as much of a threat. And we 8 of us, even we're not as much. But we're trying. Ho sakta hai our side will prove to be better, only if we start to trust each other. Aise karne se kuch nhi hoga. Shekhar, he's your childhood friend's son. Obviously Aladdin wouldn't suggest him if....And Riya, I know Ali is an idiot but not that much that he would risk choosing his life partner. I know you've done wrong and you must call them back." Mitali said and Avni suddenly had a surge pang of respect towards her.

She nodded to Neil who immediately called them back who came back as they weren't far.

"So guys! We go there, w..we try to remove the security somehow. The problem is we have to decide how to blow the stuff there." Avni said

"Why do we have to blow up stuff?" Ali asked. "Yeah we can seize them, they would be a great deal of help for us." Neil supported him.

"Don't tell me you're following Gandhi ji's principles.." Kia said.

"We don't know what the quantity is! We don't know they're legal or not. In case we get into trouble later. And busting would reduce the threat. Plus we have our son as well." She said.

The Army Was Ready for Their First Step.
