“I-I’ll g-go now.” I said shyly as I began walking away. I stopped in the doorway and turned back to look at the brunettes. “I-I’ll see y-you later Neji-kun.” I said with a small smile. He nodded and I turned to leave the room. As I began walking down the hallway when a large boom shook the ground, nearly making me lose my balance.
After the shaking stopped, I ran back to the room to check on Neji and Tenten. “Neji-kun! Tenten-san!” I yelled as I spotted them down the hallway. They stopped and turned around.
“(Y/n)! Are you alright?” Tenten yelled as she and Neji ran to me. I nodded. “What about you guys?” I asked looking back at Neji to make sure he was alright. “We’re fine.” Neji said and I released a breath that I didn’t know I was holding in.
“That sounded like it came from the arena. Let’s go.” Neji said. I nodded and we ran to the arena to find a majority of the spectators passed out. “Elder.” Neji said as we approached a man from the Hyuuga clan who was laying on the ground. “What happened?” Neji asked as he held the man’s head up.
The man explained that a genjutsu had been cast and that, in the confusion, shinobi from Kumogakure had abducted Hinata who had fallen unconscious. We stood up and woke Kiba up to help us find her.
