I stood next to (Y/n) in front of her apartment door and wrapped my arms around her waist to bring her closer to me. She blushed a light pink as she rested her hands against my chest. “(Y/n)?” I said softly. She hummed in response. “Can I kiss you?” I asked as I felt my face warm slightly as I studied her expression.
She smiled softly as she put her arms around my neck. “You’re not supposed to ask.” She said with a smirk. I gave her a confused look. What was I supposed to do then? “I’m not? What am I supposed to do then?” I asked confusedly. “This.” She said.
Before I knew it, her lips were moving perfectly against mine. I kissed back a little rougher and pulled her closer, deepening the kiss. We pulled away for much needed air and looked at each other’s eyes, a light pink stained her cheeks. We smiled slightly at each other before I hugged her again and let her go into her apartment.
As I turned to walk away, I heard someone call my name. I closed my eyes in frustration, knowing exactly who it was. “And the headache’s back.” I mentally growled as I turned around to face Lee. “What is it Lee?” I said calmly, trying to conceal my irritation. “Are you and (Y/n)-san together?” He asked, just as full of energy as always.
I looked Lee straight in the eyes and crossed my arms across my chest. “No.” I said with annoyance. “I see.” He said a bit quieter. I turned to walk away when I heard my teammate call out to me again. “What now?” I said as I turned to face him, no longer bothering to hide how annoyed I was. “Tenten wants to see you.” He said. I sighed and nodded as I headed to the training grounds.
I walked towards the kunoichi, who was standing in the middle of the training grounds. “What is it?” I asked as I approached her. Her face turned a light pink as she took a step closer to me. “I-I l-like you N-Neji.” She said as she looked towards the ground. “I like someone else.” I said bluntly as I turned to walk away from her.
“It’s (Y/n) isn’t it?” She asked darkly. I stopped in my tracks without turning to face her. “No.” I said and continued walking away.
